Then Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him. 1 Chronicles 29.23

When he received the divine call to be King of Israel, young Salomon did not wait to manifest his decision. Whoever does not believe in the Lord’s invitation to serve Him, wherever it may be, commits a great mistake. If you have been elected, do not wait even for a minute to start accomplishing the divine will.

Look at the responsibility given to the person who says that believes in what the Lord says or gives him: if he does not obey God’s orders, he will make God a liar! Therefore, it does not matter when or where; if you are summoned by Him, be ready to leave and even die, if necessary. Whoever tries to save his own life will lose it, and likewise, whoever loses his life for the love of God will find it. It is a sublime decision to say yes to the Most High.

When Solomon sat at the throne of the Lord, he knew of the responsibility implied in that act. This is what God wants us to know and to do. We cannot be at His service temporarily or only in a professional way, but to serve Him with all of our hearts and strength. If our faith is not something serious, it will serve for nothing. With all fear, the son of David sat in the throne of God.

The young king knew that he was seating in the place of David, his father. Thus, he could not rule as he pleased, being afraid of the threats he would receive, or acting recklessly. His father never shamed the Name of the Lord, and never feared or ran away from whatever battle that came against him. This is the responsibility that you must have when you assume a mission that is entrusted to you. Never give up, keep going until the end!

The result was that he prospered. It is impossible for someone to be a servant of God and lack anything. Those who have problems, are sick, or under temptations, need to examine their own faith, the things they do and desire, for the Scriptures say that those who serve the Lord lack nothing (Ps 34.9). The Most High never closes the mouth of the ox while it treads out the grain and he never withholds good for those who walk righteously (1 Tm 5.18).

Another proof that the son of David with Bathsheba did the divine will was that all of Israel listened to him. This unanimity is an evidence of God’s approval. If you are accomplishing the divine plan, even your enemies will have peace with you. The divine anointing in your life brings a desire on the saved and the lost to get closer to you. If this has not happened to you, there is something wrong.

What would you tell the Lord if He sent you to a mission somewhere poor, dangerous, with difficult access and living conditions? Never prefer the permissive will of the Father. If you are living the Most High’s true will, you will see that even the desires of your heart will be attended (Ps 37.4). God honors those who honor Him!

In Christ, with love,

Father! May we never be too busy with anything to the point of saying no to your invitation. Just as Solomon sat at Your Throne, and thus, prospered, may those who say yes to You also prosper very much.

He sat as a king. In his heart, there were no negative thoughts. He never feared not being accepted by all as the King of Israel. May the hearts of my readers also not have any fear of not being successful in the mission that You have given.

Solomon knew that his father David had been in many battles, but this did not discourage him. He knew that You would be with the one that sat on the throne. Father, may this faith be in the hearts of those who have said yes toYour calling.
