I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it. Numbers 23:20

To obey the Master’s orders is the most important. Whoever chooses to ignore this will eventually see that they not only closed their ears to God but also the Lord’s ears were closed to them.  Then when in time of need, they will pray but their plea will not pass the ceiling of where they prayed. One cannot ignore the Lord and still be blessed.  Know this: all that an individual sows he will reap (Galatians 6:7).

Abraham obeyed and was tremendously blessed. This should be any and everyone’s attitude, for nobody knows what trials are to be experienced and no matter what efforts are exerted all will be useless.  It is best to be wise, fearful and always pay attention to the Almighty.  Ever since we first heard the Gospel we are responsible and accountable to obey the Lord’s commands.  Be very careful!

Jesus declared that we would receive power when the Holy Spirit descended over us and we would be His witnesses (Acts 1.8). So when preaching the Gospel we must cast out demons in His Name and if we lay hands on those who are ill they will be healed. The Savior never asked us to curse somebody; to the contrary, when the disciples wanted to pray to rain fire from Heaven to consume the Samaritans, He admonished them and advised against doing this (Luke 9:54-56).

Balaam recognized that God’s blessing would be over Israel. It would be useless to curse the holy people as Balak desired. If there was a way, the prophet would have done this because the King of the Moabites was eager to pay for this service.  However, Balaam had to say the Truth and even so, as he was a turncoat, he suggested to the King to use the daughters of Moab to corrupt the Israelites (Revelation 2:14), causing great suffering to the prophet.

God had determined to bless Jacob’s heritage and lineage and there was no way to curse them. No Christian should ever fear any threat from a witch or sorcerer who incessantly curses them.  None of this has any effect against God’s children. The devil may insist, but his flaming darts and arrows cannot penetrate the firewall which protects those that belong to the Kingdom of God is the shield.

Balaam realized he could not curse that which God had already blessed. All who are saved should be conscious of this.  Believe in this promise: once we left the kingdom of darkness we are now in the inviolable Kingdom.  Unless we give the enemy cause by falling into temptation, we will never be visited by the powers of Hell. In all truth, those who have the heavenly blessing over their lives will never be affected by any of the works of darkness. Thank you, Lord!

We must live confidently in the promises of God and never bow or bend to any curse. The key is to never cease believing and using what God has given us. Even if the enemy comes against us like a breaking dam, the Holy spirit will rise against him waving the flag – the Lord comes to our side in battle! Halleluiah!

In Christ, with Love,

God of decrees! How good it is to know about Your decrees concerning all of Your people.  Although the enemy insists and persists against us, what You have declared will be enforced by Your mighty and wonderful power! Then we can rest assured that no evil will befall us.

Thank You for making us Your children. Our salvation was the best thing. Since then, we sleep peacefully assured that nothing from Hell will oppress us. It is so good and productive to live a blessed life.

Who can revoke Your decrees?  Even if this was the least from someone with no rights, this would never happen. First because the saved are important in Your sight; second because You love and protect us. Amen!
