He sent signs and wonders into the midst of you, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh and all his servants.

Psalm 135:9

Signs being performed by God amidst His people makes many people wonder. Some religious people keep putting them into question, though they do come from God. And why does The Lord perform signs and wonders amidst us? The Gospel of John declares that many crowds followed Jesus because they saw, with their bare eyes, signs being performed by Him on the sick (John 6:2). Preachers that cannot do the same our Master did in His days do not manage to cause many people to follow them.

A very personal question I ask here: Have signs from The Lord been happening in your life or have you been forgotten? God does not forget any of His children. Actually, many people do not do what they should be doing, and when that happens He cannot work on their behalf or through them. Yet, those who discover their stand in Christ and assume it begin seeing the divine actions in their lives.

The signs of The Most High are a blessing for those who trust in Him, but a terrifying thing for those who do not stand firm in His promises. The enemies of The Gospel would have a second thought before assaulting someone who has The Living God always operating on their behalf. To them, faith is a living thing and a quite profitable one, but for those who keep on being rebellious to the mouth of The Lord, faith in Christ is something terrifying. If they were wise they would also be assisted.

The example set by the emperor of Egypt, if carefully examined, would make anybody who has not given themselves to our God yet one of His disciples; considering that Pharaoh had to pay too high a price for not having listened to the words of the Almighty. Unfortunately, many people read this narrative and they do not realize that situations like that are happening to them. Yet, when those who are lost open up their eyes and seek the divine assistance it turns out that they shall certainly find it.

What happened in Egypt was such a serious matter that even Pharaoh’s servants had to pay for the rebellion of their lord. Things are no different today. People who listen to The Word of God and close their ears are causing a great deal of harm to all the members of their homes. They won’t be able to enjoy peace, and to have a well-balanced and happy family if they do not pay respect to The Word. If you are the only servant of God at your home you must take your stand for the others not to suffer the assaults of the opponent. Remember that the devil comes to kill, to steal and to destroy (John 10: 10 a).

If you belong to a place which falsely calls itself Christian, whose rites lead those who are unaware into thinking that that belongs to God, but actually the same works that Jesus used to do in the past don’t take place; you must just flee from there. You better leave that place where people neither invoke the True God nor serve Him, because if The Lord is not operating there it means that the one who is doing so in His stead is a demon and, being so, one must not be willing to have communion with. The Most High will operate powerfully amidst His people if they only believe in the Divine Word. We do not need anything made up by men, but only the power of God at work.

In Christ, with love,
