People who refuse Christ’s salvation also despise the goodness of the Most High, the sum of blessings won by Him in His death, and the consequent victory over the devil and his demons on our behalf (Colossians 2.14,15). Failing to fear the One who has the power to do what is necessary, and at any time – is to act recklessly. People who fear the Lord lack nothing and are fully fulfilled.
Fearing God means respecting Him as Lord and keeping His commandments. The Creator, in turn, guarantees the fulfillment of the promises recorded in the Word, saying: Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away (Luke 21.33). By understanding the Bible’s statements, you can now give thanks for what the Most High has said, because it will be confirmed.
To fear God is also to resist sin, until it flees with the evils it places upon your life (Hebrews 12.1,2). Then, you will be able to get rid of temptations, diseases, and other sufferings caused by the enemy in those who lack heavenly protection. The Lord’s confirmation is automatic. When you believe in Him, consider your petition fulfilled (Mark 11.24). God and His Word are one; there is no failure in Him!
Fearing God is the obligation of everyone who is sanctified in Jesus, born again and prepared for every good work (2 Timothy 2.21). To fail to assume your faith in the Lord – is to deny Him the right to teach you the Truth. When you are told by Him that a blessing is yours, confess that it is already part of your life and believe that you have it. All this happens by faith, so listen to the Almighty through the Bible. Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10.17)!
Fearing God is not a passive attitude of the heart, in which one acts according to the religious, while waiting for something to happen. With a firm attitude and in the Name of Jesus, one determines the result mentioned by the Savior: And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14.13). This asking has the sense of claiming, taking possession of the promises of the Lord.
Fearing God shows who we are, what we do, and what we can accomplish by the way we live. If our problems are not solved, nor our determinations answered, maybe someone thinks that there is something wrong in us or in the Lord. It is impossible for Him to be wrong, but yes, there is wrong in us. So, if we understand the divine purposes, but do nothing, God can never be accused of not having done the work. Mercy!
How will people give us credit if we say that we fear the Lord, but are not answered? We must truly respect Him and only pray after we are sure of what we are asking for. This way, there will be no doubt in anyone’s mind that the Lord is faithful and good to those who are faithful to Him. The world needs to hear about the wonders of God.
In Christ, with love,

Father, our Sustainer! We have so many promises coming from You, and we know that You will confirm them. Then put an end to the devil's works in our lives and in the lives of those who pray to You. The enemy wants to prevent people from believing Your Word!
As Your saints, we need to respect You all the time, but almost always, this is not the case. We confess our mistakes with bad thoughts and desires, and ask You for complete deliverance from them!
Why lack, when whatever we determine, in the Name of Jesus, You will do for us, and Your Word will be fulfilled? The Bible is clear that You will supply, in Christ, all our needs. Thank You for Your blessings!
