01/07/2021 - SO SHALL THE LORD DO

The great trials which your eyes saw, the signs and the wonders, the mighty hand and the outstretched arm, by which the Lord your God brought you out. So shall the Lord your God do to all the peoples of whom you are afraid. Deuteronomy 7.19

The Lord never left man confused about whom to follow, because, besides giving testimony of His person in the preaching of the Word, He shows irrefutable proof capable of giving mankind the certainty that it happened by His work. In this way, whoever receives the divine blessings becomes a living witness of His love and existence. There are wonders that everyone who witnesses them, or becomes aware of them, cannot deny the Lord´s authorship.

Moses was used by the Most High to bring the Israelites out of Egypt, but he warned them that God saw that their hearts feared those people, and that was a great mistake! Now, if you fear the enemy, he perceives just by seeing your reaction to his threats, how weak your voice gets and how negative your confession is. The Word says: The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion. (Proverbs 28:1)

Intrepidness means absence of fear. This should be the normal thing in the life of one who claims to be saved by Jesus; therefore, a righteous one. The Israelites saw the Lord´s signs in the land of Ham, Egypt, when the greatest empire in the world bowed to God’s will. Their eyes saw the great trials. Without any weapon but divine power, Moses went to the much-feared Pharaoh and spoke all that the Most High had commanded him to say.

The Israelites could not plead lack of conditions to take control of Canaan, if the Lord had commanded them. Nor should they say that those nations were powerful, had well-trained and dangerous armies, and their cities were surrounded by thick and high walls that would prevent any attack against them. Now, only what God says must be taken into account. He is the Man of War and the Lord who keeps His promises

The Hebrews knew that they were brought out of Egypt by the mighty hand of the Lord, and not because they made war against the Egyptians and defeated them. In fact, they would have never gotten out of there if it were not for God´s mercy and operation. With His arm outstretched and His wisdom at work, the more than three million slaves came out with their heads held high, and thus came to freedom. The Lord is strong and powerful!

They should always remember this, because this reminder would give them the strength to overcome any other obstacle to their happiness. In the same way, Christians and other sufferers should look to the Lord and remember that there isn´t and there won´t be anyone who can subdue them; after all, when God works, who will reverse Him? (Isaiah 43.13). Now, go into prayer, tell the Father that you are sorry for your mistakes, and go all the way.

Just as the Lord did with the Egyptians, He will also do with those you fear. They may appear strong, but only he who serves God is strong. So, make the Most High your security. Cry out, confessing your sins – and ask for forgiveness. Then, go on to victory!

In Christ, with love,

God and master! There is no way to close your eyes to the trials that make us tremble, for You will help us to overcome. It wasn´t only the Israelites who were brought out of captivity, but also those who today are converted to Christ. The kingdom of evil lost the fight!

We have seen signs, wonders and miracles happening before our eyes. Your mighty hand has helped us in moments of crisis, so we thank You for the words that encourage us to remain steadfast in the battles.

What happened in Egypt will happen to anyone who stands against us, because You are the God who delivers us completely! With You we will never be defeated, not one of us will ever be oppressed. Your Church is strong and powerful in Christ Jesus. Amen!
