For You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

Psalm 116: 8, 9

The Lord God is The Author of all the benefits we are granted; among them the salvation of our soul was the best one. When He reveals Himself to us we get the prize of having the greatest opportunity ever: that of getting our future right. When that happens we’re kept safely away from the reach of the empire of darkness. All Christians have to understand and claim this blessing considering that what the divine grace does on our behalf is much more than just changing religions.

The Gospel connects us to The Creator. As we hear the sweet message of what Jesus did to mankind our soul rejoices and thus it turns out that we have more than just the opportunity of changing directions considering that our sins are removed. Therefore, our spirit – our true being – truly becomes a new creation. Due to the fact of our being born again the devil can’t dominate our lives no longer considering that The Spirit of God is The One who begins dwelling in us.

In the rebirth our soul is set free from death; therefore we become stripped of any evil character of Satan. It turns out that the evil forces which induced people into perpetrating wrongdoing, those which used to oppress us with filthy desires by enslaving us into all sorts of addictions and sins in the past have no authority any longer upon us now. However much the devil may strive as long as we don’t give him room he won’t be able to dominate us no more. Those who are born again are truly delivered.

Once salvation is perpetrated a newly-converted person gets to learn that they’re indeed loved by The Lord and then a feeling of dignity comes up in their heart since at that point they receive power to leave the old way of error and temptations behind and then they take to setting the example as good people. Thus, they won’t be any longer frustrated and dominated by any hatred or grudge just like in those past times when all they could think of was their own interests; but now they’re taking care of their families, friends and they want everybody to know that they too can be delivered from their bitter tears.

Those who serve The Lord get to learn that their feet are free from the risk of falling. So, they become wise and sensible people and even when any opportunity to fall into sin comes up they just say “no” to it considering that now they’re really keen on pleasing The One who has given them a life. On account of the joy they feel the saved ones do all their best to fulfil the will of God. What really counts to them now is to participate in the Kingdom of love, happiness and purity they’ve just discovered.

Wouldn’t it be a good idea for you to make the same decision as the psalmist? He said he’d walk before the face of The Lord which means that he’d be delighted to fulfil the commandments of God. Those who aren’t obedient to Him are used to hiding from The Most High which is absolutely not a good thing to do. If we don’t watch the commandments of our Father frustration and all those troubles we used to have in the past will come back and in no time we’ll lose everything we might’ve conquered from Him so far.

Don’t wait to get to Heavens to experience the goodness of The Most High. Everything He has in store for us will be enjoyed right here in the so-called land of the living.

In Christ, with love
