For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

Galatians 6:8

Everything we do, say or write is like seeds we cast into many hearts. Evil attitudes will produce evil herbs, thorns and venomous plants which are bound to be picked up one day. Now the good ones will generate food which will edify people. We need to understand that we were put in the world as Sowers of goodness for the divine plan to be fulfilled.

A malicious regard or bad-intentioned words might represent someone else’s doom. Only The Lord knows how much harm the devil is causing to that life. Some are about to be convinced that it’s absolutely pointless to foster goodness since all things go right for those who do wrongdoings. Then, a child of God lets themselves be used by the enemy as they deem that there’s nothing wrong in giving themselves in to error as well.

We have to make a choice as to where to sow and never cease doing good things. All along our earthly journey we’ll have the opportunity of planting good seeds but if we won’t it’ll turn out that we won’t be keeping our neutral position. Those who don’t say right words are not conveying the divine love through their regard nor are they showing themselves as real servants of God. Even by their way of walking they might be causing other people harm and, sooner or later, they’ll shed tears for the horrific example they’re setting.

Never mind about who’s tempting you – just don’t let the devil catch you in his clutches. Trying to justify you errors by saying flesh is weak won’t work at all. The Word of God which will judge us one day states clearly that we mustn’t give room to the devil (Ephesians 4: 27). Make sure you’re paying no attention to the way the devil is showing up to you; nor to the person who he’s manifesting himself in! The best bet is for you always to stay away from his evil machinations so you won’t become a sower of evil seeds.

Look for sowing to The Holy Spirit in order for you to keep on perpetrating good deeds in life by giving people wise and good counsels and by leading them towards a quite fruitful destiny. Strive not to be accountable for anybody’s fall whoever they might be. At all times do your best not to say any negative or filthy words. Be careful never to go away from The Word of The Lord considering that the words we speak are powerful. As you sow to The Spirit – The Holy Spirit – you’ll reap the best fruits ever.

The enemy’s looking for a bunch of fresh other Jude Iscariots to betray The Lord but the adversary is an evil boss considering that, as soon as he gets someone else’s assistance, he usually pays that favour back with all sorts of wickedness and evil. God’s looking for trustworthy men and women who will bow down only before Him and – with faith and determination – they’ll fight the good combat till their career is over (II Timothy 4: 7). Why not becoming one of those men and women?

I want to remind you of the fact that we’re eternal beings. There’s no suicidal act which could ever make our spirit vanish. If we perform good deeds – when our time to leave this world comes – we’ll be welcomed on the other side by our Father; yet, if we give in to the will of flesh or the devil, The Lord won’t welcome us in His Kingdom. Many will hear from the lips of The Most High the command to march on straight into the eternal fire. My prayer is that that may never happen to you!

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares
