10/02/2021 - SPEAKING IN SUCH A WAY

Now it happened in Iconium that they went together to the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of the Jews and of the Greeks believed. Acts 14:1

When we allow the Holy Spirit to use us, we will speak just like the disciples. Paul and Barnabas went inside the Jewish synagogue together. We should act in the same way when doors are opened to us. The message preached in religious doctrines has nothing special. For that reason, its followers live in conflict: existential, familiar and social conflicts. Only in Jesus there is peace!

If we speak in such a way as mentioned in this verse, we will see people accepting Christ as their Savior. However, this is something that comes from God for our own personal fulfilment and of those who listen to us, it’s not something man can do for himself. When we express ourselves like the Most High wants, we will be heard, because everyone wants to know the Word that brings healing, deliverance and happiness. The solution for mankind is in Christ!

We achieve very little when we speak as any other person would. And the worst thing is that, several times, believers become greater sons of hell than they were before (Matthew 23:15). But, when we declare something in the name of Jesus, the harvest for the kingdom of God becomes productive and greater. We must obey the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16,18), who is so good to us. To Him be the glory!

It doesn’t matter if those listening are religious people or if their minds are trained in philosophy or some other science. Every heart is yearning for divine blessing and feels accomplished when the good news, Jesus, is announced. Remember that we must do the same works that the Savior did, and even greater ones (John 14:12). If not, we will be wasting time and fooling others. Those who are sent by God speak of His words (John 3:34) and rejoice in the results!

People who listen to us can’t ever leave our presence without true food, or we would be acting like natural men. Our disposition to be used by the Master will cause them to be fed with the powerful Word. Only then, our mission will have been accomplished.

No matter what each one believes in, the individuals listening to us will decide on the truth, because the Holy Spirit will convince them (John 16:8). There is no other source of deliverance, power and holiness apart from the Lord. We should never do anything for God with partiality, competition, revenge or some other motive, besides obedience to Him. Divine works can only be accomplished with the anointing from on high.

The truth is that when someone drinks of the fountain of life (John 4:14), they surrender to the arms of the Lord. Accept only messages from the Spirit of God. We must work in a correct way so we won’t be declassified on judgement day. Always preach the Word!
