And make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

Hebrews 12:13

God allows and ordains us to choose our own path, but He requires that our path be straight. For this to be possible, we should follow the revelations that are in the Word of God. The Bible doesn’t limit the diversity of paths to be chosen, but they should be established in a way that the Most High is always in control of everything. In other words, heavenly cooperation is essential, or nothing good shall be put into action.

The paths of the righteous cannot have shortcuts or curves, and this requires obedience to God. The way we walk is always related to the way we exercise our ministry. The way the Lord teaches us to preach, testify, pray and rebuke evil is very important, for this is how we will help many to go through the narrow door and through the tight path. (Matthew 7:14) Therefore, ask the Lord, and He will show you the best way to fulfill His purposes for you.

When we seek for straight paths, the lost people around us will also make wise decisions, for our attitude will keep them from being uncertain if they should say yes or no when deciding. The beginning and the end of our search should always be in faith; when we choose the straight path, we will never make decisions according to our own will, and this way the devil cannot compromise us. When we are being tempted, if we seek the Lord in faith, we will avoid the wrong path and not fall into temptation.

The Lord will send people to usufruct of our ministry, for many are weak in their faith. If what we create are straight, perfect and plain paths, those who are sent to us shall not stumble. That’s why it’s so important to receive the directions from God to develop our ministry; it’s not only important for us to walk correctly, but also to help others to stay firm. Therefore, follow the orientations from our Heavenly Father.

This verse we are studying demonstrates that God wants everyone to be healed. Therefore, our responsibility is huge, for the paths we create shall be a remedy to many others. However, if the paths we choose are created without help from our Father, there’s no possibility to heal those who are weak, and the divine will shall be disrespected.

The Lord’s preoccupation with the lost ones shows us that He doesn’t want anyone to be eternally lost. The truth is that our heavenly Father is working to save and heal the lost and the weak. He has already done what’s necessary so that we can find our way; with His help, our mission shall always be blessed.

The redemption plan was made in a complete way so that the wicked may find all they need to be saved. However, the way we use our ministry can lead those who are lost to salvation or not. What a great opportunity the Lord is giving us, right?

In Christ, with love,
