God’s wars should always be led according to His directions, because our fight is against principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this age and the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We must overcome the battles we fight, because that glorifies the Lord. For such, it is necessary to seek Him permanently. Only then will we be invincible. God is faithful!
The Most High is the only one who can give us a safe direction. Therefore, man’s conquests away from God aren’t considered victories, but things that delay celestial work. He will guide those who are called to fight His battles. The faithful ones act according to the Word, and because of that, they know how good it is to walk under His orientation. The Lord sees what man can never see or imagine. You will be victorious with Him!
When the apostles heard there was a riot to hurt and stone them, the Holy Spirit guided them to flee from the city, just as Jesus had taught them (Matthew 10:23). God knows all things even before they come to light. To count on the help of the Father is vital, because He knows all the strategies of darkness. Without Him, a shipwreck is imminent. The Creator is who gives us wisdom!
The apostles didn’t run away from the war, but strategically decided to go see other people who lived close by, allowing the Lord to operate in that hostile situation. When they obeyed celestial orders, they took the message to an even greater number of people! To follow the Lord will always grant us greater success than what we would have if we acted on our own, and the opposite is also true. God is powerful!
Those who follow the Master don’t have to make any other plans. They should just pray and understand how to proceed. Jesus is the way out to any crisis or embarrassing situation, and that’s why there is no way for the enemy to oppress or defeat a Christian. The omniscient God will guide us in ways that the enemy doesn’t know. God is all powerful, and He is our Father!
It was almost certain that problems would occur in other cities as well, because the Gospel was entering places where the devil had been operating for thousands of years, and one of his strategies is to kill those who speak of the love of God. The apostles weren’t afraid, because love is stronger than death.
The Church was edified by Christ, and that’s why the devil can’t stop its growth. Believing in this truth, the apostles just followed the orientations of the Holy Spirit. Later, Paul went back to Konya to strengthen the church. This time, there were no riots against him. All the honor and glory be to God!
In Christ, with love,

Lord! We want to live under Your orientation, so that the enemy won’t stop us from doing Your work with his threats and temptations. Father! Your orientation will lead us to victory, and we do not take it for granted!
It is wonderful to walk under Your light, leading people to walk securely and well-firmed in their prayers of overcoming. Our victory doesn’t look like those of human battles, because we are fighting against the forces of hell!
May we count on Your help. That way, every time we are overcomers, we will give You the praise. No evil spirit will destroy us if we follow Your good and safe instructions. Amen!
