Surely it will be well with your remnant; surely I will cause the enemy to intercede with you in the time of adversity and in the time of affliction. Jeremiah 15.11

The servants of the Most High must be strengthened to do good things. Thus, His marvelous work will be accomplished in our days as it was in the times of our Lord and Savior. The mission that Jesus gave to all of those who believe in Him is to do the same work that He did. Since we have the unfailing divine promise, we can keep walking with the certainty that we will never lack the help of Heaven.

If all the servants took the promise of God as a commandment and strove to make it become true, we would see many important things happening nowadays. The truth is that the Omnipotent wants to free those who are under the satanic yoke, using drugs, in prostitution, acting dishonestly and destroying themselves. We must convince them to become good people.

There has always been and there will always be times of adversity. As in the times of Abraham, when the drought brought hunger to the Land, we have seen many regions today suffering with this evil. In the days of Lot, forces of Hell made Sodom and Gomorrah become two prostituted cities. In our days, entire nations have been visited by the same sin. The world has become extremely permissible in misconducts, since it follows the satanic orientation.

A time of anguish has come and dominated many people. Even inside churches this has happened. We have never seen so much adultery, so many divorces, abuses of young people, and rapes as we have seen lately. In several cases, the transgressor is not even arrested, for he manages to get a judicial order to free him. There are lawyers that are specialists in releasing criminals. How the world needs to know goodness!

In the verse that we are studying, the Lord says that in the time of adversity, the enemy would intercede with Jeremiah. This is happening: the devil has asked us not to interfere in his work, as did the Gadarene possessed man (Mt 8.28,29) and the one in the synagogue of Capernaum (Lk 4.31-37). There are parents that allow their daughter to bring her boyfriend to her room, because it is dangerous in the motel. There are even cases in which the son is bringing his “boyfriend” to his parents’ house. Jesus taught us not to attend to the requests of the demon (Lk 4.25).

Those who make deals with the evil one are separated from the Almighty (2 Co 6.14,15). Then, in this person’s life, the empire of darkness will finish its work. There are those who think that their saved money will protect them, but this is not the case with the man that built new warehouses and filled them with provisions (Lk 12.20). On that same night, his soul was reaped. There is only one way not to be involved with the demon: to obey Jesus’ orders. He who obeys the divine commandment will receive a reward (Hb 11.6).

The Biblical text starts by saying that the Lord said. Now, what the Lord has declared will always happen. The devil does not have the minimum conditions to face the Most High. God is Omnipotent and when He operates, no one can stop Him (Is 43.13). Believe in what the Most High tells you and you will never be guilty of eternal judgment nor will you surrender to the enemy.
