15/07/2021 - TAKE CARE OF GOD’S PEOPLE

Now Jesus called His disciples to Himself and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.  Matthew 15.32

It is necessary to have a body of brothers prepared to take care of the sheep placed by the Lord under our governance. This way, they will lack nothing. The Church has full authority to face the attacks of the evil one. After all, we have been constituted priests and kings for God (Revelation 1.6), so that the divine work may be truly shown as the answer that society needs from the Almighty. Whatever your situation, God will work the miracle!

We have been called not only to be a people kept by the Lord, but also the extension of His love on Earth. If the Church loses the battle, who will represent the Almighty here? (2 Corinthians 5:18-20). No matter what attacks people; those who have the Holy Spirit possess the anointing that raised Jesus from the dead and must use it to curb and banish from the world the ability of the evil one to operate in those who do not know the difference between God and the devil.

The Master expressed compassion for the crowd and did not want to dismiss them with empty hands and hungry. This same feeling sprouts in us when we desire to bring the liberating power of the Name of Jesus to the suffering people. We receive it to do good, to all people. God will bring to us the suffering people, who groan under Satan´s dominion. Then, in the Name of Christ, we will deliver them.

That day, after spending three days with the Savior in the wilderness, learning to do the divine will, they were spiritually satiated. However, all the food had run out. In times of emergency, those who serve God can help the hungry and, under the Holy Spirit´s guidance, are even able to multiply loaves and fishes.

Jesus knows our needs and wants to provide solutions to them. But why did He let them get to that point and not dismiss them on the first or second day? Christ not only has the power to accomplish whatever is needed, as he did in Canaan, where he made wine from water (John. 2:1-10), but on that day he would multiply a boy’s lunch, satisfying the hunger of thousands of people (John 6).  God is perfect and wants to use us even in cases like these.

For Christ, whoever believes can give solution to everyday problems and bread to those who need food, actually feeding them. Jesus gave the bread of the Spirit first, and then the material bread. We cannot supply only with one or the other, but with both, for all to know the power of God. Whoever is thirsty must go to Jesus and be satisfied, and whoever is hungry must come to Him and be fed. The Lord has proven that He supplies man’s hunger!

God will never dismiss empty handed those who are on His side. Those people were there, learning the Truth and being set free by the Master. No matter your problem or your pain, the Father will supply all your needs (Philipians 4:19). He is good!

In Christ, with love,

God of true care! We want to thank You, for You care for those who have nothing to eat, who lack a solution for their affliction, and who need love in their heart aching from the wickedness of others. You always show Your compassion and love for the afflicted!

Your mercy kept the disciples from dismissing the crowd without bread and fish, and they were satisfied. May this happen in our day! The hunger for Truth is greater than we imagine, and You are the only One who can satisfy them all. Take care of us!

Being where You command, we will do as You desire. If we have the authority to minister the Word to the people, we will see it deliver the suffering. Thank You for entrusting us with the mission of bringing the Good News to every creature. Use us, Father!
