“And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.” (Romans 16. 20)

When the Apostle Paul was saying farewell, in the epistles to the Romans, he stated that God wouldn’t be long to crush Satan under our brethren’s feet. Do you think that would only happen to them or can that happen to us as well? The Bible tells us a lot about the feet of those that do the will of God. There’s a mystery about those members of our body which are in contact to the ground. I believe that is done in a figurative sense.

When the Lord addressed Joshua in Canaan, He said He’d give the children of Israel the land where His servant would tread upon with the sole of his feet (Joshua 1:3). So, Joshua only had to set foot on the land and the people of God would inherit it. That was a symbol of the promise made to us in John 14:13 in which Jesus stated that He’d give us whatever we determined, took possession of whatever we demanded to be ours. So, Joshua should take possession of that land by setting his feet on there, by claiming its possession, and the land would be granted to him.

Isaiah pointed out that the feet of those who bring the Good News are beautiful (Isaiah 52:7). That means that when we preach the Gospel to the lost ones nothing will prevent us from looking after that group of people for God. Our feet – our decision – manage to get many people out of darkness into the Light. The devil has always dominated all the nations and oppressed their citizens to make them suffer all kinds of wicked deeds. Yet, when someone sent by God goes up to them, that servant of God crushes the enemy’s ability of keeping them in the realm of evil. After all, the doors of hell can’t resist the progress of the Church of our Lord Jesus (Matthew 16:18).

Our Roman brethren suffered a massive oppression. Then, the Apostle Paul told them that the God of peace would soon crush Satan under their feet. If they were sick, the God of healing, Jehovah Rafa, would heal them; if they had any financial issue, the El Shaddai – The Lord who is more than enough – would supply them by smashing the enemy under their determination to obey the Holy Word.

What’s your problem? Find out in the Scriptures what God has promised to do and, then, cry out for that and make sure that the Lord will soon crush Satan under your feet. The manner the Most High reveals to you is the one through which you must have faith in Him. If it’s healing, the Lord will be the God of healing for you; in case you need something else to be sorted out, He’ll also supply you with that.

Our Father doesn’t delay and is not tardy to fulfil what He promises. When we understand His Word, He operates quickly. If you have already been given some revelation, the Lord’s prepared to fulfill it. God’s ready to crush Satan under your feet right now. So, cry out and He’ll do that!
