Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.

Psalm 147:5

Our situation is a most privileged one; after all, the Creator of Heaven and Earth is our Lord, so instead of getting in despair when the forces of darkness strike us, we must confront them with the assurance that we will be victorious.

My brethren, if the devil has attacked you, do not fear for you have a God who promised to never leave you (I Kings 6:13). If hell decided to put an end to your happiness and as a result you have had moments of grief, rejoice now because the Lord, the One who owns us, will not allow you to fall into the enemy’s hands. The Almighty is on your side to deliver you from all oppression; therefore it does not matter if the forces of darkness are striking you because your Owner, who never sleeps (Psalm 121:4), will not let even a strand of your hair fall to the ground.

God declares Himself to be Lord of great power, which means we must hold our heads up and never submit to the infernal forces. What is wrong with your life? If you are in sin, do not let the situation continue. Right now, draw close to the Lord of the Universe and put an end to any malicious attacks. The Most High is what His Word says about Him: the God of great power! 

It is impossible to measure the understanding of the Almighty. As soon as the enemy begins to set up a trap against any of God’s children, the Lord already knows what will happen and starts to work in order to help them because He is pleased to deliver all those who belong to Him. At this very moment He is waiting for you to make the decision of getting rid of Satan’s claws immediately for there is no reason for you to be kept imprisoned by him.

Do not bow to anything. All necessary things have already been done so that we are empowered against the forces of darkness, therefore God does not have to create something new to protect us from the devil, for He ensures that the work done by Jesus on the Calvary has made us more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Make a decision right now: check all the wrong things that have plagued your heart and set out for the complete victory!

Our Lord is great – just as His servants should be, so do not have a limited faith and do not entertain the thought that God has lost your battle. On the contrary: He defeated all evil and covered your life with His great power. Think of the great revelations of the Scriptures and do not let the enemy deprive you of your blessing. Christ chose us so that we may follow Him and bear much fruit (John 15:16). So be the joy of your Lord!
