For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with favour You will surround him as with a shield.

Psalm 5: 12

Numerous are the advantages of putting into practice The Word of God. It is awfully sad when we get to know someone who does not know The Lord and, thus, they cannot be guided by Him; instead, they are led by the powers of darkness. Those who are not saved do not have the security Christians have because they live their lives dominated by evil. Peace is only available for those who are born again (John 3: 3) considering that the old heart will burst out in case it is mended.

If you begin really serving God you will see that your life will blossom in a way that you will be greatly favoured. In a recruitment process a good employer will be willing to have in his business those people who fear The Lord because they will undoubtedly be better collaborators. If you truly serve Christ you might be used as one of those young Hebrews who were taken to Babylon because they stood out from the others (Deuteronomy 1: 1 – 7).

Another benefit those who serve God have is their good conscience which never condemns them; on the contrary, it motivates them into carrying on being on the good path. And that makes them have a much better night sleep, they do their work more successfully and they never allow the devil to use them in his evil purposes. Being the salt of the earth (Mathew 5: 13) a child of God is qualified to prevent this world from getting into an even more rotten state considering that they are used as the very answer which everybody needs whenever facing hellish assaults.

The best thing I want to point out here is the declaration from God Himself in that He will bless all those who are obedient to Him. Being righteous you will feel pleasure in accomplishing the mission that The Lord has given you and you will not be worried of the stones that get in your way because you will successfully get rid of them all. A righteous man knows beforehand that he will be blessed in all of his enterprises.

With the divine blessing being poured out in your life there is no reason for you to fear or not to be brave to face new challenges. Just like Caleb you must confess that your strength has not lessened with age and do fulfil the mission that has been entrusted to you. Your feeling joy in being an instrument in the hands of The Lord proves that you are righteous.

Something else I want to point out here is that having The Most High promising He would surround all those who act in line with His commands by His voice, His Word, you must consider yourself immune to the enemy’s assaults and, at the same time, consider yourself fully qualified to fulfil the wonderful plans worked out by God for your life.

Do not forget that no weapon, however well prepared, will ever succeed in attacking you (Isaiah 54: 17). God promised to surround you with His benevolence to capacitate you to keep on being on the Holy Way, without any condemnation for the enemy to be put to shame in your life. Finally, you have pleased The Lord so much that He has reserved your ministry and your voice to speak out to many people on His behalf.

In Christ, with love,
