And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth." Matthew 28:18

What a day! The Christ killed in Jerusalem had resurrected and approached those who had obeyed Him and gone to Galilee, to give them the most wonderful information they could wish to hear. He had been given and received all power in Heaven and on Earth. Previously, He had ordered them to remain in Jerusalem until they had been anointed from above with the blessing He received. Then they should go through the world preaching the Good news of the gospel.

This anointment occurred days later. Now his followers could show the world that the authority He had been given they also now had and consequently wherever they went preaching miracles began to happen. However, as the years went by the church began to be more refined and sophisticated and the miracles stopped happening.  In their place, stories were created in which unfortunately many people believed.

Today the world needs to see the anointment that was over the Master and witness the marvels happening in the lives of believers. The only possibility for society is to listen to the children of God that dare to preach that Jesus is always the same, yesterday, today and eternally. (Hebrews 13:8). The absence or lack of supernatural healings is owed exclusively to the fact that the Church is not observing or doing what He ordained, which is very serious. When the Lord returns He will demand from those that claim to be His representatives the explanation for what was done with the talents that they had been given by Him.

Around the year 150 of our era, there lived a preacher called Montano, who preached with the signs that followed Jesus. However, because he had been straying from the Path and the Roman Empire used their wise men to demoralize Christians, the leaders of the Church forbade the use of the power given by God.

This mistake by the leaders made the Church turn to human sciences in order to refute the Roman philosophers and thinkers that persecuted the Christian faith by criticizing them for having only one God. Tacitus and Pliny and others hounded them for not using the divine power and the light began to fade. In no time the Church had men who were wise in letters, but fools who didn’t use the Name of Jesus, the All-Powerful. Will this error repeat itself?

In our days, similar situations may happen. When the antichrist arises, there will be people who, in order to save their lives will ally themselves to him and deny the Lord who redeemed them. Only those who persevere until the end will be saved. That is why we must consecrate ourselves to be instruments of God just as Jesus was. There is no greater testimony than to use the name of the Lord to deliver the oppressed and to heal the sick.

There is a great revival pending where God will perform great wonder and marvels everywhere, taking all sorts of people to repentance, sanctification and the abundance of life in Jesus. So when the man of sin arrives and apostasy grips the world, Christ will come and dismantle this.
