“So all the assembly worshiped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.” (II Chronicles 29: 28)

Had Hezekiah, king of Judah, been ruthless like his father Ahaz was, we could say: “Well, he didn’t do what was righteous in the eyes of the Lord so that’s why he didn’t manage to fulfil all of his wishes.” But that’s not what happened. He turned to the Most High and was rewarded. My brother, those who do the same will succeed in everything. Therefore, turn to Him right away and your life story will be written with successful letters regardless of what’s going on in your life now.

Hezekiah might never have forgotten the fact that his father had been slaughtered due to his own mistakes and failures; yet, instead of covering them Hezekiah confessed them before the Most High. He was rewarded when he truly presented his heart to Him because he got the whole congregation of his people to prostrate themselves before God. Read all of chapter 29 of II Chronicles and you’ll see what can happen to your life and your dearest ones’ when you fear the Almighty God.

Many are being deceived in our churches. They don’t fully convert to Christ; their thoughts are still evil; yet, they believe they’ll succeed one day. Nevertheless, it’ll be impossible for them to live well if they’re not in communion with the Lord. God can’t be in the presence of sin! A Machiavellian plan, a cunning plan, envy or a sinful desire: all those things bring the enemy inside our hearts and take the Lord out of them. So, we must take out all trash piled up in the temple of the Lord for Him to take His place in our lives.

Those things you learned before knowing the Word of God must be completely removed; they’re worthless. Only those things the Holy Spirit ministers in your heart by reading the Bible and by listening to a preaching of the Gospel must remain. Don’t let yourself be carried away by your guessing! You insist on thinking that that specific counselling is an instruction from our Father; yet, He only speaks through His Word and He does that in a straightforward manner; not by what you think or what you feel or perceive when you look at someone or something. Be faithful to what the Spirit of God’s telling you to do and remember: He only does that through the Scriptures!

Suppose you’re not having many experiences being guided by the Lord, so, it’s time you started taking the first steps on the Rock. Don’t run or fly, just walk according to what you’re being ministered. The Almighty God is never late nor early; He knows everything and that’s why He’s the only One that can lead your way to success. That’s your best moment. So, be wise and the heart of our Father will rejoice in you!
