Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses.  Psalm 25.12

Since we are blind in regards to spiritual matters, we need the Lord’s help. Those who consult other spirits become confused, for these beings are liars and perverse. But why should those who believe in the Most High not pay attention to what He says in His Word? In it is the direction that will never lead us to unhappiness. God is loving and true.

The choice of a way is one of the most important things in life. If we follow the wrong direction, we will not get where we should. The good thing is that the Lord is Omniscient and is willing to guide us. Therefore, we have the chance to get things right. Thus, why should we waver in our choices, if we have His offer of guiding us to what is best? If we despise the Most High’s orientations we will walk in devious paths.

There is nothing difficult about this subject. If we have to make a choice, we must pray and ask help from High. We will prove that we fear Him if we pay attention to the Lord’s offer. But if you think that the Most High will not be helpful in this matter, how can you believe that you will go to Heaven with Him? If He would not fulfill a simple promise such as this, how would he fulfill the one of resurrecting you, giving you a glorified body, and leading you to the heavenly mansions?

Whoever respects the Lord, calls out for Him in the time of need. This person enters the presence of the Almighty naturally and asks for His favor. It is a privilege to have Him as our Guide both in the big decisions as in the smaller ones. Undoubtedly, He is more active than the satellite guiding services. If we follow the coordinates from Heaven, we will always be on the right path.

Whenever you are taught by the Most High, do not despise Him, for besides being a favor, it is a commandment. You will never repent of having attended the divine orientation. If one day God would teach us something that was not the truth, He would no longer be God. But this will never happen. In the Lord, there is all the wisdom that we need; besides, there is love, power, holiness, and victory. Those who follow His directions will triumph.

Therefore, if you desire to be successful in all things, never make any decision without consulting the Creator. The Lord is complete in all things, and therefore, He is God. Since He was the one that planned and created us, He knows what we need and what we cannot do by ourselves. Therefore, we must always consult Him, since He is willing to orientate us. Undoubtedly, the person without the divine counsel will stumble.

When David affirmed that the man that fears the Lord will be helped by Him in choosing the right way, he was revealing the reason of his success. If we also desire to be successful in all things, the secret is to seek the direction from God. It is easy, right?
