He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great. (Psalm 115:13)

The Most High wants everyone to know that He has no preference for anyone. It does not matter whether a person is of African, Asian, European or aboriginal ancestry, after all, the Creator made man in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26), and those who give themselves to Him and trust in His word will become more than conquerors. The secret is to fear the Lord!

When God admonishes men about adultery He refers to something very serious that can separate them from Him (Matthew 5:27-28). The same can be said of dishonesty, envy, hatred and other practices condemned by the Word.

My brother, evil is something pernicious. This means that the mere fact of contemplating it or talking about it may contaminate you. So pay no heed to sin, not even to make any judgments about it. Rather, flee from everything that is condemned and do not spare one single minute to think about it.

The promise of victory is for all those who fear the Lord. Yet, some people do not give due attention to the divine ordinances and disregard the Almighty. Well, it is not enough to be a member of the best church with a great pastor, give tithes and offerings. We need to fear the Most High, respect Him and keep His commandments, for He promises His blessings to those who act this way. But people who do not fear Him continue to be attacked by the enemy and as a result will not partake the abundant life given by Jesus (John 10:10).

It is a good idea to do a self-analysis and see if you have been blessed, because the lack of blessings indicates lack of fear. Religiosity has nothing to do with the reverence that is due to the Father. By the way, almost always the religious mannerisms show that there is no respect for God and any ritual that is not written in the Scriptures is unnecessary and sometimes devilish.

God shows no partiality (Deuteronomy 10:17-18). He blesses everyone equally – great and small, rich and poor, doctors and uneducated, black and white, men and women. It means He has no favorites, so nobody should be led into thinking that they are not being blessed due to some decision the Lord has made. This is not true! The Most High does not privilege anyone to the disadvantage of others.

With this revelation, we have the truth. If there are no favorites, then you are able to become a blessed person. All you have to do is respect the Lord, for those who do so fulfill His commandments. Do not do what He forbids, but rather what He approves. In doing so, you can rest assured that blessings will be bestowed on you!

In Christ with love,
