31/01/2017 - THE BREATH FROM GOD’S NOSTRILS

And with the blast of Your nostrils The waters were gathered together; The floods stood upright like a heap; The depths congealed in the heart of the sea. Exodus 15: 8

  In Exodus 14, verse 21 we read of the east wind that blew all night and made the Red Sea open apart.  However, this is what the unbelievers could see and feel.  In fact, what opened the sea was another sort of wind, which parted from God’s nostrils.  Everything that comes from Him is beyond man’s comprehension.  So do not refuse to use the anointment He gives you because it is superior to the enemy’s power.

How could that wind be so strong as to be able to part those waters in two and become like retaining walls so that God’s people could pass on the dry land without knocking anybody over.  Alas, the Almighty uses natural phenomena to demonstrate His greatness but in truth, He was the one who performed that uncommon task with His breath.  That’s how He operates when we call upon Him.

The East wind, though known for breeding storms should have an even greater speed to carry out that task.  But at the same time ite would have to be very careful not to knock down old people and children, sheep and other livestock that the Hebrew took with them.  When the end of time arrives, Jesus, with the blowing of His breath will consume the wicked with the spirit of His mouth.  Then the foreseen end of all will come.

What in truth separated those waters was God’s breath blasted from his nostrils.  This was sufficient to hold up those waters as if there were an invisible wall as strong as steel, very thick and well built.   He made the waters to tower upon themselves and to stay that way until the Israelites had passed through the path that had been created.

God’s wind operated greatly that night.  In the heart of the sea, the depths congealed forming a valley where ever since creation there was like a submerged bridge, 20 to 60 meters deep which became a highway for almost three million people to travel on dry land with their livestock, all their belongings and dry feet.

This shows us that the Lord will not shy from any measure of efforts to fulfill His will in the midst of humanity.  Even though we do not see nor understand what He does we benefit from his efforts.  If we have the Lord’s disposition to help us, why don’t we believe in His promises in our behalf.  Surely it will be something great.  Do not be afraid to trust in Him, the Worker of wonders.

Let the Omnipotent send His wise wind because His work has to be completed in our generation.  Those that lived in the past were neither more nor less loved than we are by Him today.  However, from their actions they are seen to have been a lot wiser.  Those who believe not in the divine promises miss out on much that He can do.
