The Israelite who would become king over his people should, when sitting on the throne, write down for himself a copy of the Law of Moses in a book, a manuscript that was before the Levite priests. All this, so that he would know how to govern his country, setting the example of a servant of the Lord. No one could do as they pleased, but rather – be a model for everyone. Whoever prepared himself in this way would be blessed in his reign.
Now, the Bible must always be consulted. Meditating on the Word is the secret to succeed. Certainly, in eternity, we will give an account of our stewardship (Luke 16.2). If we are not good stewards, we will answer for it. Those who do their job well will be praised for having received heavenly assistance and will be thankful for it. Let us be responsible for our own sake!
What makes someone a good servant is obedience to the Scriptures, recorded by people guided by the Holy Spirit. Isaiah said: To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. (Isaiah 8.20). I want to see the dawn and stand before my Lord, therefore, I cannot act contrary to the Holy Book.
Moses said that we have to learn to fear the Lord, but we think that this is revealed to us in our sleep or with the visitation of some angel. Now, what the Bible does not promise should never be accepted even as a suggestion. God left His Service Manual to be read and reread. Then, we must reflect day and night on everything that has called our attention, so that only the Father’s will may be done in us. What comes from man defiles holiness. Be vigilant!
No one will keep the commandments if they don’t study the Word. So, we should take the time to read the Bible and if God reveals to us something that needs to be changed, we need to say yes on the spot. Be a good seeker of new things in the Bible. Now, for this to happen, you must have a life of prayer and surrender to God: [...] You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God (Matthew 22.29).
Why err when today we have several translations of the Word, which will help us mend our failures and will lift us up to do the will of the One who enlisted us to fight His wars? With this argument, Abigail made David recoil from the anger that flooded his heart and would cause him to kill Nabal’s entire family, including her and her children (1 Samuel 25.5-35). Now, nothing beats having a cup of cold water to give to a brother in need (Matthew 10.42). There will be rewards!
We will succeed if we live in the presence of God, as Peter and John did. The way they responded to the priests was disturbing. Therefore, these authorities sought to know what the Lord’s servants had studied in order to speak that way. When they discovered that it was the fact that they had walked with Jesus, they were amazed (Acts 4.13)!

God, our true Guide! How can we do without Your advice when You have the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven? Indeed, You gave it to the Church, but if we don't take the time to meditate on Your Word, they won't say we were with Jesus.
Walking by Your side and fulfilling Your will, will help us save lives. This is because people don't know that You have the power to heal their ills, deliver them from temptation, and give them redemption. This is our greatest mission: to save those lost in error. We need Your instructions!
May, from this message, many brothers and sisters dedicate themselves more to serve You, walking by Your side and glorifying You accordingly. The power has been given to us, but the wisdom and the virtue of opening the Truth will come to us day by day and at the right moments. Thank You, Beloved!
