Look upon Zion, the city of our appointed feasts; Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet home, A tabernacle that will not be taken down; Not one of its stakes will ever be removed, Nor will any of its cords be broken. Isaiah 33:20

Isaiah asked the Lord to look upon Zion, the city of our appointed feasts.  The watching of the Omnipotent means vigilance to the point that nothing can enter this special place without His permission.  The name Zion comes from a hill located in Jerusalem that was taken by David and became his fortress.  It represents the spiritual environment where the saved are found, for they were delivered by Jesus.  We will never be expelled from the Kingdom of God!

Zion symbolizes the church, where we work on the works of the Lord.  It needs to be examined by the Omniscient, because those who live in it by faith still live in the flesh and are subject to imperfections.  However, being driven by the Holy Spirit, they will conduct themselves in a good and perfect manner.  There we find the Most High, enter into communion with Him and are nourished fully on the true Bread.  Thus, we can march out to win and glorify the Father through the Son.

In the Church we fulfill the divine will.  Therefore we must not think of our immediate needs – physical or mental –but only in doing what glorifies the Father of lights (James 1:17). Then God according to His riches will supply all our needs in glory through Jesus (Philippians 4:19).  There are no excuses or motives for anyone that is saved to be in want or lack for anything, as long as he trusts in the Scriptures for everything there is ours forever!

The eyes of the Lord constantly see our place in Christ.  Due to this, we must make of this place a holy place.  In Church we are greatly supplied.  Remain constantly in prayer, thanking the Lord for the Bread that you have been given – the food that strengthens and brightens your heart, to be wise in the decisions that you must take before Him.

This place in Christ is a safe habitation where the devil does not enter.  In truth, the demon can only enter with our permission.  Therefore, never allow him room; if you do, he will do all the evil he wants.  Nevertheless, if we deny him entry, none of his schemes will touch us.  Use the place you have in Christ to worship the Lord and to grow in grace.

This special space and place is a tent set up by the Almighty for you to remain until the return of Jesus. Therefore it will never be destroyed, because the Lord guaranteed that the stakes that firm them will never be pulled up.  Knowing that our habitation is established firmly on the Rock, we can be assured in peace, because the devil will never remove it.

The cords that maintain it will remain forever, because having been placed by God around us, not one will be broken.  Our position in the Lord is eternally guaranteed, therefore, we will not be pulled away from His hands.

In Christ, with Love,

R. R. Soares

Lord! You showed wisdom in preparing a good place for us in You, where we can enter and learn, the city of our appointed feasts.  When we are worried or needing help, mentioning the Name of Jesus, we will be before You.

You take care of Your Church, performing Your work and using us to offer You our true praise.  We want to walk in faith, doing Your will as You desire. Then we will be yielding good to all.  Our greatest desire is to serve You.

We want to see the heavenly Jerusalem, the quiet habitation guarded by Your power.  The tent that will never be destroyed, whose stakes will never be pulled up!  Father! So much detail concerning Your house.  The cords used to bind us in love to You will never be undone.
