So Israel made a vow to the LORD, and said, “If You will indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.” Numbers 21:2

The vow is something very serious, which must be based on the Scriptures. Once made and confirmed by the participants of this holy decision, they should come together in prayer and study of the Word, so as not to leave any door open for the enemy, who will not think twice before entering and wreaking havoc. See the promise you made and make it. Voting is neither financial nor material.

After Aaron’s death, Israel left Hor to conquer Canaan under the direction of the Lord. However, he soon came upon the wickedness of the king of Arade, a name meaning “mountain donkey.” To the Israelites’ surprise, this king attacked them cowardly and took some captives, because they followed the way of the spies. This act caused deep sadness in them. Then they gathered to seek the Most High, who directed them.

They joined Moses and gave us a great lesson in laying the pillars of the institute of the vow. They declared that if God gave them their enemies, they would utterly destroy them as well as their cities. We must understand why we are bombarded by Hell with so many evils, and then make a covenant with the Lord to eradicate the lairs of the evil that surely exist in us.

The Almighty heard the request of the Israelites and delivered that people into their hands. As a result, they hastened to overthrow the cities of the Canaanites – none stood up. They were annihilated in such a way that the name of their place became Horma (Num. 21: 3) – complete destruction. Leave nothing of the devil standing in your life or family. Close the door of evil!

If your family members are being attacked by any force from Hell, which leads them to suicide, prostitution, crime and the other sins that the devil causes man to commit, do not give respite to the evil one. Vow that sin will no longer reign in you and do the work of the Lord. It must never be done by force or violence, but with the help of the Holy Spirit (Zech. 4,6).

Be careful! When things begin to get better, don’t stop acting or despise God’s Word. By failing to honor it, you will be dishonoring the Lord, and it has never been good. The Most High must be praised for what He is and does for those who seek Him. By being faithful to Him, recognizing Him in all your ways, you will count on His assistance until the end of the battle. Go ahead!

As long as there is only one evil change of conduct in your family, the war against evil must continue. God has delivered the enemy into your hands; Now fulfill your promise without turning your back on your heavenly Father. Whoever loves Him will be loved by Him, but whoever dishonors Him will become vile. Decide!
