“Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy, and gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.” (Psalm 107: 1- 3)

Jesus said that the devil is the father of lies (John 8:44), but God only speaks truth. In all works of the Lord, there’s no risk of wickedness or trash because He’s thorough in Truth. His redeemers are instructed to praise Him because He’s good and His mercy is forever (Ezra 3:11). Though men have changed their habits regarding their living and though science has evolved so men can now enjoy all those benefits from progress, they’re still the same and so are the devil and our God. The good news is that the mercy of God is endless. He never changes and He keeps on wishing good things for everybody in all generations.

The statement that tells us that God is good brings many lessons to us. We can see that He’s good at healing all diseases, from the known ones which assault human race to those that aren’t under the control of the most knowledgeable physicians. There’s nothing that can resist the divine operations.

The Most High is good at forgiving and getting rid of all temptations which insist on showing their lies. If your mind has been flooded with wrong thoughts or if you’ve been nursing banned desires you mustn’t think they come from the Lord. You’re being wrapped up by the worst demons of hell whose main goal is to take the life crown off your head. God’s an expert at delivering people like you, but you must really wish to be delivered. The Lord can’t operate while a Christian is cherishing sin. Jesus teaches us how to ask the Almighty God to deliver us from temptations in the popular prayer called “Our Father” (Luke 11: 4). So, if cry out to Him, He’ll do it for you.

The Lord is good at keeping those who turn to Him to ask for His protection. In this evil world, full of lost bullets in the streets and many people who give themselves to Satan’s wishes, those who turn to God and cry out to ask for His intervention will be spared from all attacks from the enemy. When our Father operates the devil is tied up and all evil operations are frozen and put down

If you’ve played with sin – even though you haven’t fallen for any of it – you’re giving in to temptation. Say right now “That’s enough!”. The mercy of the Lord lasts forever, but don’t put off your decision for later! Those who’ve been enlightened and have already realised that iniquity is lurking their hearts and they’re still letting themselves be carried away by that sort of feeling are consciously forsaking our Father and giving themselves to the devil.

In Christ, with love,
