All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth, to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.

Psalm 25:1

God has His paths, which undoubtedly are better than the ways devised by man. The Lord reveals such paths to those who seek and serve Him with all their heart. None of His ways are difficult to reach or tread because all of them are mercy and truth. Those who learn from the Almighty stand out from other people, and He wants to see them acting like winners.

We have not done and neither can we do anything to be worthy of such divine favor. However, we can receive it because of the Lord Jesus, who became our Savior and Lord so that the Father has deemed us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, and of His own nature. So we do not have to be shy to exercise our right. All we need to do in order to take possession of the blessing is to act in the name of Jesus.

Upon receiving a promise from God, you can claim it because it will not fail. You are the one to whom what is written in the Holy Scriptures is addressed, and from the moment the Holy Spirit reveals that the Lord has given you a blessing, you are the one who decides when and how to take possession of it. Even if the enemy insists that you cannot accomplish such a feat, believe in the Lord and claim what belongs to you.

There are two requirements. The first is to keep His Covenant – the New Covenant, established in the blood shed by His Son. He who does so has the right to walk on the holy paths. The New Covenant is a blood alliance; the blood of the Almighty’s only begotten Son. Can it be that Christ will not honor what He did at Calvary? Would God be an eccentric who gave His only Son to die for nothing? Of course not!

The second requirement is to keep His testimonies – that which you understand in the Word. When the Holy Spirit reveals what belongs to you in Christ, God’s part in the blessing process is over and at that moment all you have to do is to believe in what He said and take possession. So now see what has already been revealed as yours and take possession of it. The Lord honors those who honor Him.

All revelation is like a commandment. From the moment you are told something, you have an obligation to fight to get it no matter how difficult or impossible it seems to be. God would never say something to you if it were not true. He keeps all His promises to those who believe in Him. So the decision is yours alone.

Your attitude toward the Covenant and the testimony of the Spirit of God makes the difference. If you do not believe what He says, you make Him a liar. Is that what you really mean? Come to your senses and become a hero of God now. What else do you need when you have become God’s heir?
