Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do so.

Proverbs 3: 27

Being anointed by The Lord to do His work is a blessing, something good and utterly significant, but the gifts we have receive make us accountable for how other people will be living their lives. We have the power to bind on earth what The Holy Spirit reveals to us through The Word of God; we also have the power to loose on earth any work that the devil might be perpetrating in the lives of those that turn to us for help.

He who receives from The Lord the gift of manifesting His glory for others – those who are sent to him by God or those he is sent to – needs to understand that that gift was given to him not as a payment from any debt to him from God, but for him to bless those who are going through suffering. We are debtors of all the lost to give them salvation.

The verse above reveals to us that the blessing we have received to hand out to others doesn´t belong to us, but to those that need it. Therefore, we have a duty to get them paid whenever possible with – through a right given by The Heavens – their ownership. We are not doing the lost any favour, instead, we are doing them our duty whenever blessed by us; they are the ones who are doing us a favour as they allow us to be serving God and, thus, we are also being blessed in exchange.

Those who refuse handing out to those who are suffering what belongs to them will have to be accountable for the evil work they are causing them. With that understanding in mind, the children of The Most High will never be “in the red” because – as they accomplish their mission they will be paying off the debts from the credit deposited by God in their account. Paul said: “Woe to me if I do not announce the Gospel” (I Corinthians 9: 16 b)!

Through the healing of the man with a withered hand the lesson Christ taught the Pharisees becomes utterly significant: if He had not done His duty concerning that man He would have caused harm to him. The fact of doing well on a Sabbath put Him at risk of being accused by the Pharisees; yet, on account of the harm caused by Him if He had not healed that hand they would have not accused Jesus of anything. Those hypocrites did not understand anything as regards to the divine love. My brother, if you have received any gift of God you must do well, otherwise you will receive your penalty.

He who has been anointed is the only one who can do the work which he was appointed to and he is also the one covered up by that particular power to carry out that task. Look to what you have been given and do not fail to do your duty; otherwise, on the Great Day, you will be accountable for failing to do well to those who needed it. The Almighty has been training you for some specific missions that only you can accomplish.

Do your bit with all your loyalty to The Lord and you must never fail to hand back the ownership to those who are in need. You will certainly receive in the eternity your rewards for having been a servant of God. The kind of child that pleases our Father is the one who accomplishes his or her mission and, on account of that, he or she has access to all those riches which belong to The Lord. If you still haven´t let yourself be used by The Most High you must live that experience from now on. Thus, you will see how much you will be rewarded by God.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares
