But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Acts 1.8

Since the day of fall in Eden, human being has been empty, without the presence of the Most High, alone, and subject to the enemy. But the day that God would live inside man again ought to come. The Lord worked tirelessly until it happened and His word was accomplished by His only Son dying on a cross. From then on, everyone can be saved and return to communion with the Father. Definitely, what separates us from God was removed. 

Joel prophesized about this glorious day when the old men would dream dreams, the young men would see visions and in all people would pour out the Spirit (Jl 2.28). So, because of this pouring of the Spirit the weak would say he is strong, the oppressed, free, the sick, healed. The power we receive with the coming of the Spirit of God is the same that Jesus received. This is why the results are the same. 

When someone is baptized by the Holy Spirit he is marked as God’s property. So then he receives power to do God’s will as Jesus did. He becomes a useful servant in the Lord’s hand. The Spirit guides him into all the truth, revealing him what was said in heavens. He will tell him what is yet to come, glorifying Jesus and giving us everything that belongs to the Lord (Jo 16.13, 14).

Jesus said we would have the same tools to do His work with the assurance that we would receive the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is the same and is given freely to us (Jo 3.34). But, only people that were born again can receive Him. Their hearts were no more of stone but of flesh – sensible and born again in Jesus Christ (Ez 36.25, 27).

All of those who were baptized by the Holy Spirit received the anointing to represent the Lord as His ambassadors, priests and kings (2 Co 5.20). The believers must believe in this authority because the baptism is the beginning of this beautiful path. If we obey the directions of God’s word, without falling in temptations, it will be a blessing to us and to mankind.

We become Jesus´ witnesses with the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Our job is in the entire world (Mk 16.15). Wherever the Lord sends us, the power He gave us will work. You have the solution to the problems of different people, don’t doubt about it.

The experience with the Holy Spirit changes completely the life of a believer. Every servant of God becomes bold with it. But you need to remember that the Holy Spirit is the one who guides you and helps you to make decisions. If you are born again and you are not covered with the power, talk to God, for He will undoubtedly baptize you.
