Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.

Hebrews 2: 14

The reason why Jesus turned Himself into flesh is something to be understood by all people; thus, we will all learn how much it cost our Savior the work perpetrated by Him on the Calvary cross. Christ left His glory, His prerogatives from God and then He came to our world to become one of us. His struggle against the devil to get us out of the empire of evil was quite distinct from any other struggle considering that Christ suffered in His flesh our pains and sins.

With the sin committed by Adam man was in the hands of our adversary and then death, Satan’s essence itself, came upon all mankind – which means that we were born with a lot of errors. Yet, The Son of God came down here by going legally through the gate of the material world in order to rescue us from the empire of darkness. As we accept what He has done for us we are recreated by our Father in Jesus and, this way, we become a new creation.

Christ defeated the devil not as in a UFC fight or any similar one. The Savior took upon Himself all of our diseases and pains, being wounded by our transgressions (Isaiah 53: 5). I want you to understand this: God allowed His Son to be wounded with our sins for us to be delivered from all of them. The least we can do to show gratitude to such work is to be delivered from all faith impairment.

Our Master replaced us completely, and that is the reason why we are not supposed to suffer from any pain that was placed upon Him. Still in that same verse of Isaiah the prophet states that by the stripes suffered by our Lord we were healed. Therefore, we have to take attitudes as healed people, and we must not accept any evil arrow the enemy might be aiming at throwing at us. If we have already been healed by the stripes of our Saviour we need no longer ask Him for any healing now.

Jesus destroyed the devil by undoing his horrible empire of death. You must believe that that was already done for us – it truly was! Of course Satan will attempt to drive you away from The Word to attack you. Yet, all those who stand firm in The Scripture will not fail. The Word of our God will be fulfilled eternally.

For things to go well with you it is important that you see yourself as someone fully delivered from all devilish action. It is useless to pray and speak out the text of Isaiah if deep inside your heart you do not believe in the statements of The Bible, and because of that it turns out that you do not make use of your rights. How long will you not be taking God seriously?

It is up to you to decide when the divine power will operate on your behalf. But watch out! Each time you postpone your deliverance the enemy will be even more strengthened against your life. That is the reason why you ought to turn right now to The Lord, your God, in prayer, and ask Him for forgiveness of your errors, as well as for all the temptations you have fallen for, and you must rebuke the devil because The Most High can only operate in those people who are connected to Him.
