Then the king of Egypt said to them, “Moses and Aaron, why do you take the people from their work? Get back to your labor.”  Exodus 5:4

Don’t believe the enemy or anyone who serves him. Just as good water springs never produce bitter waters, you will never hear anything good from the devil’s mouth.  His arguments are deceitful and tricky and just by being in close contact and listening to the devil, no matter how insignificantly, you will be contaminated.  We must give ears and listen only to the Son of God who is pure and humble in heart.

The devil will deceive anyone who will dialogue with him.  The angels were made with more capacities than men and the devil had been the angel Lucifer – the bearer of light – an angel even more capable than the other angels.  If you give in to his conversation he will easily fool you, because he is the father of lies and a deceiver himself.  When we seek to deliver a person from oppression we ask the demon what enabled him to enter that life but we shouldn’t make this a doctrine.

Pharaoh proposed a negotiated deal with Moses and Aaron: they could sacrifice to the Lord as long as this did not interfere in their daily labor duties.  In the days of Joseph we see that the Israelites were not enslaved after being conquered in battle, but that they had been received as free persons to live in dignity and decency in that land.  Man did not come to this world in order to be a slave to the devil, but through sin he was held in bondage as a slave to Satan. In Christ, however, there is freedom!

In the synagogue at Cafarnaum, Satan used a wily demon to try to confuse Jesus, saying he knew who He was, that his time to be tormented had not yet been fulfilled and what he did with Him and others was strictly his matter because he had earned this right. The Master did not enter into dialogue with the filthy spirit, but gave us the example of not entering into arguing or dialoguing with the devil but simply casting the evil one. This is what we must always do!

Don’t listen to the devil or you will be deceived or confused. Hear and listen to the Lord and that which is wrong you will depart from. The Scriptures address their messages to us and there is no evil today that has not been foreseen.  In the Biblical records there is the perfect solution for all crises and for any problem.  We need only to obey the Lord: this way we will be made complete. There is no error in the Almighty, only truth.

Demons are arrogant, even to the point of saying to Jesus that they had nothing to do with Him. Likewise, they will try and dissuade you from your ministry, luring you to the good things of this life; that you are in your youth and must make the most of this time in your life.  If you want to succeed here and now as well as for all eternity, never doubt or reject the Bible and never pay the devil any mind, to remain free and clear from him. Be watchful and pray!

Never give up on anybody, even though they massacre you with evil words. The adversary wants us to keep on sinning and let the rebels destroy themselves in their transgressions. Bear witness to Truth at all times.  Show everyone the difference between right and wrong and then you will have done your work and completed your mission.
