“Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; for the future of that man is peace.” (Psalm 37:37)
A blameless man is upright and his future is blessed. But he who isn’t blameless in the eyes of the Lord and to his neighbor won’t have a good future at all. When a servant of God fails to be blameless, hell becomes victorious over that person. Some Christians don’t realize how foolish it is to let the enemy perform his operations. If your heart yearns for something wrong, if your eyes like to see sinful deeds, if your mouth speaks falsehood, in short, if there’s something evil in your life, seek the Lord and repent. An upright man is directed by the Word of the Lord because he walks according to the divine commandments and he doesn’t turn from them to the right hand or to the left (Joshua 1:7). He doesn’t give in even when it comes to benefiting his dearest ones.
All of us will have a future unless we die before due time. God allows us to live here on Earth in order to do His will. Those who do their best to fulfil the holy commandments will have glorious days in the future. However, those who are reckless, those who don’t appreciate the words God tells them will not be assisted even if they cry out to the Heavens asking for help.
Many people don’t stop to ponder on that fact that their tribulations occur due to their reckless behavior. If only they sought the Lord, the works of hell wouldn’t prevail either in their lives or in their family. Instead, just like beasts without a sense of danger, they can’t see the traps set up for them.
Our Father planned a future of peace for everybody; yet, the sinful deeds some insist on performing will cause them go through extremely hard times. The plan of the Lord for those who are
faithful to Him, as well as for their families, is the best one. All you have to do is to be blameless and upright so the divine plan will be fulfilled.
My brethren, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap (Galatians 6:7). A man that sows wind will reap whirlwind; a man that plants good seeds will reap a good crop. If you haven’t thought of being faithful to the Most High yet and of leading your life in the light of His Word by sowing all the time what the Lord says, start doing that from now on.
Why not strive to be happy? Doing exactly what the Father tells you to do will not only cause you to reap good fruits, but also your dearest ones will be blessed. Those who follow the divine instructions won’t suffer any evil assaults. Take the first step towards happiness right now! Be blameless and upright.
In Christ, with love,
R.R. Soares
