03/08/2014 - THE FULFILMENT OF THE DIVINE WILL

So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed. Acts 19.20

Almost always, when the man’s name increases, something serious and bad may happen. However, when the Word of God increases, the people are blessed. John the Baptist didn’t care with the fact everybody went after Jesus and, with pleasure, declared it was suitable – more productive – that Christ increased and he decreased (Jn 3.30). When a person doesn’t exalt the Lord, he is thinking about other things and not the Kingdom of Heaven.

The work of God needs resources, not individuals aiming their own interests. Those who don’t have the divine calling can even be charismatic, with good intentions and available to do what is necessary, but this is not the kind of person the Lord sends to fulfill His will. The servants of the Most High seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, that’s why all these things shall be added to them (Mt 6.33).

The “Christians” who care about the subjects of this world will cry bitterly for having let the devil use them to obstruct the increase of the gospel. The world has always faced this kind of people. The first chance they get and they abandon the Lord and commit themselves to the enemy. We have seen people who have the courage to sue the church and scorning the Lord.

Those who intend to serve the Lord are like the apostles of the first Christian church, that chose not to leave the Word of God. One of the characteristics that shows if someone loves the Most High or not is to be with the Scriptures “on the tip of the tongue”. They not just mention it, but also live it. If others subjects have your preference, you haven’t found Life yet and, so, you don’t know the heavenly Father.

What really matters is that the Word of God increases mightily. If what is seen in you is that you are increasing materially, this is not a sign that you are approved in a spiritual path. There are people that know how to negotiate and are experts in the subjects of this world. It is the work of the Most High that has to increase and not the personal ministries, supported by advertisement. The proof the divine plan is being fulfilled with total accuracy is through  the work of the Holy Spirit.

Everything the devil wants is that the celestial Word doesn’t prevail so that the people don’t get to know about the Truth. The ones used by the Lord and got carried away by sin, today have a frustrated and defeated life. Each day, the deviated person goes towards perdition; if he doesn’t repent, sorrow will be his future.

Jesus asked His disciples if He will find faith on Earth when He comes back.  What is there deep inside your heart? If there really is the purpose of God, you will be alright; but if there are personal projects, you will make a tremendous mistake. Don’t be misled: the Lord manifests and works amongst us through His infallible Word. What He has revealed is His plain will for your life.
