They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom, and talk of Your power. Psalm 145.11

The saved have been born again, and after being delivered, they have been transported into the Kingdom of God. So, they have an obligation to speak of the glory of this Kingdom, which has welcomed them with open arms and made them fully empowered citizens. Those who keep silent act badly, disobeying Jesus’ command to announce the Good News to all people. We should be grateful for this immense benefit, for which we pay nothing to obtain!

We need to talk about the work done by Jesus, that with no suffering for us but for Him, rescued us from the empire of wickedness (1 Peter 1.18,19). This fact alone is enough for us to spread the benefit received from the Lord. We cannot stand still or be silent! When we declare the divine deeds, we practice good, and surely, we will be rewarded at Christ’s return.

When we relate an action of God’s power in our lives or something that happened through us, we provoke in the listener a real shower of revelations and a great interest in the testimony, even if the person says they don’t believe in the Lord. The seed planted under the divine anointing produces the fruit planned by the Most High. However, never increase or decrease anything from the heavenly operation.

Take the case of the lady who suffered from bleeding for 12 years. Upon hearing of Christ’s deeds, she felt that if she would only touch Him, she would be healed. With this conviction, she set out to find Him. We don’t know how long that woman looked for Jesus, but as He said: He who seeks finds (Matthew 7.8); she found Him. Although the Law of Moses forbade such a person to approach a healthy person, the woman was healed by faith (Matthew 9.20-22)!

God’s purpose in commanding us to spread the glory of His Kingdom is to make it known that He is the same today, as He was in the past, and will be in the future (Hebrews 13.8). As the Creator, He wants to awaken men to the Truth. The Lord is on a mission to bring people to the knowledge of the Word, for His desire is that all be saved (1 Timothy 2.4). God is always good ! 

The inhabitants of the whole world need to know about the exploits of the Almighty, so that their faith will grow and they will be blessed. Don’t limit yourself to an unsalted prayer, lacking authority, but give your testimony of what God has done on your behalf. By what you say, some will be interested in knowing the One whose power makes the blind see, the paralytic walk, the deaf hear, and the mute speak. The Lord wants to bless people everywhere.

Another reason Jesus has commissioned us as His successors, continuators of the divine operations – is so that people will know of the magnificent glory of the Kingdom of Heaven. He does not lack power, but everyone must learn that the means to receive healing, prosperity, and salvation is by faith, which comes by hearing, and hearing – by the Word of God (Romans 10.17). After receiving the virtue of the Holy Spirit, we become His witnesses!
