Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me. Micah 7:7

The Word of God gives us many reasons to wait on the Lord. Being All-Powerful and at the same time being love and our Father, if He isn’t hearing or answering us, it might be that there is something wrong in us. Therefore, as soon as we clear this matter from our hearts, we will reestablish communion and see the divine hand working as in the biblical days. Immediately, the light will shine and the darkness will disappear.

To wait is to act, being careful and watchful to correct our behavior that separates us from the Most High and His deeds. Those who stray are not only the evil doers who will be cut off from the True Vine but also the servants who fell for being careless. But as soon as they remove the obstacles that do not allow them to be heard, they return to the presence of the Father. Then, as they take up their position in the Lord they will inherit the earth. Check and see if there is something that prevents the Almighty from blessing you and remove this hindrance from your path.

The prophet said he would wait for his God. Alas, he who proceeds in this manner is reinvigorated and victorious in battle. Besides, he rises like the wings of eagles to the presence of the divine, runs to his blessings from the Lord, and finds them: the wheat, the wine and the oil. Next, he discovers he needn’t rest but continues to do battle. This persons walks in faith, is not weary and is always ready to go where God sends him.

David also waited patiently for the Lord. He was rewarded for this, as God leaned toward him, removing him from the slimy pit, out of the miry clay. The almighty set David’s feet upon the rock and established his steps (Psalm 40:2). Our God is simply too much; but those who do not seek Him do suffer terribly in the hands of the enemy. It is good to walk with Him!

He who places his trust in the Lord, will never stumble on the stones thrown to confuse him. It is best to wait on God, who is our Father and to be ready to do His bidding. If we allow the devil to harm us, we can’t have divine assistance, which will open our understanding and lead us to obey the Lord. We have a path to walk and if necessary we will walk the second mile. Amen?

God promised to hear everyone as long as there is no sin covering His face and preventing His ears from hearing that person. He who wrote Psalm 119:49,50 said this was his comfort during his affliction and he would wait on God’s message. The word that was given by Him quickened him. We are privileged to know and to serve a God who cares for us in the smallest details. Do as He ordered you to do, for in obedience there is wisdom.

When the Almighty listens the problem is undone. It was necessary for Bartimaeus to cry out at the top of his lungs for Jesus to listen, stop and assist him. The two blind men described in Matthew 9:27 were only tended to when Jesus entered the house and healed them. The Syrian-Phoenician woman would accept no excuses or explanations, since she was sorely interested in her daughter’s healing. God wants to hear you and succor you.

In Christ, with Love,

Lord! There is no other God like You and if there were we would not seek him, for You are good and righteous. We hunger for Your Word and we exist and come into Your presence by Your favor.  Come to us, Beloved of our soul!

Grant that we may understand Your Word and walk in righteousness doing your will, so as not to stumble on the stones scattered against us by the devil, our enemy. Only you can guard us and lift us.

The enemy will not be appeased by us. Even if we had fallen, You would not leave us prostrated, but this didn’t happen. You sustained us in our day of temptation and evil did not strike us. You are the God of our salvation, and we wait upon You. Come and help us. Amen!
