For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. John 13:15

Everything that Jesus did had a bigger purpose than what was perceptible. His doings should serve as an example for the holy people while the Lord’s church remains here on Earth. Christ was emphatic in saying that He only did what the Father taught Him (John 5:19). Of course, being one of the persons of the Trinity – therefore God, the Creator of all things -, He had wisdom  to do whatever He wanted, but He declared that He only practiced what He learned from the Father. What a lesson for us!

Jesus said that the works done by Him was a testimony that the Father had sent Him (John 5:36). If we are sent by God and do what He orients us to do, such works also reveal Who guides us. Through time, if we are obedient, we can conclude that, when the Lord orders us to do something, we need to act immediately, because we will have His assistance until the end of the task.

It is natural for the human being to give their opinion about any subject, even if they don’t know much about it. However, nothing should be done without the testimony of the Most High. According to the Scriptures, the works is done in the best way possible, because the Lord’s plan does not contain any error. He is Omniscient – He knows everything.

If we do what pleases the Father, we will never be alone. Therefore, there is no option: either we act the way God teaches us, or we create something that will not work. The worst thing is the risk that comes with man’s work, seeing that it is not planned or done by the Lord, there could be side effects. The human mind is little compared to the Mind that created it, therefore, it is imperfect. It is always better to trust the Father. 

What we do in the Name of Jesus will testifies about us, the same way Jesus’ works testified about Him. There is no better way than seeking the divine direction, meditate on His teachings and decide about a particular topic when faith is reigning in the heart. The same way someone that is delivered by Christ is truly free, those who are illuminated by Him are truly capable of pronouncing words that bring justice.

Why ignore God’s instructions and try to learn from experts in marketing, advertising, philosophy, and other courses that fascinate people? Those who follow the Lord’s orientations are successful and more productive. The solution that comes from God is eternal.

The works done by faith in Christ testify that the Father is in us and we are in Him. This alone should already lead us to act only by the Lord´s direction. What we built with divine help is always perfect and goes beyond what we see now, because the true purpose will be revealed later. Don’t ever trade what God gives you for man’s opinions.
