For the day of vengeance was in My heart, And My year of redemption has come. Isaiah 63.4

Since the day that the devil fooled Adam and Eve, God planned in His heart that He would act with revenge in order to make the devil pay for the damage he caused in God’s plans. He had created mankind to be His companion, partner in His creation; but sin created a separation that by the enemy’s point of view, would be eternal. The devil did not know that the Lord would pay whatever the price was, in order to revenge the suffering that humanity had to go through.

The battle of our salvation was not a theatrical act, in which the powers of good and evil represented a decree signed by the Most High. The Son of God had to come down and undress himself of his glory, making himself as one of us, had to be crucified, forsaken by God – go through spiritual death and then die physically. All of this had to happen, or we would not have the slightest chance to escape from the evil bondage.

After his death, Jesus descended into the regions of death. The devil and his demons were partying thinking that Satan’s plans had succeeded, because the Son of God was separated from the Father, and now He was in his hands. But, during the three days He spent in the bosom of the earth, after paying the price of our redemption, the Master won against the infernal forces and took the keys of death and hell from the hands of the supreme head of the wickedness and resurrected (Rev. 1:18).

God had it all planned in his heart. Isaiah compares the Lord to a warrior who came from Edom, from Bozrah, dressed clothes of vivid colors, that is glorious in His garment, who marches in the greatness of His strength, who speaks of justice and is mighty to save. Your garment is red, because alone stepped on the mill (Rev. 19:15). There was no one with Him and in His rage, He crushed the grapes and had his clothes stained.

This is Jesus when He comes to meet you; He is a warrior of excellence and brings justice as His glorious garment, for that reason, He forgives all of your sins and redeems them for God. The Lord never comes with weakness, but marching in the greatness of His strength. This is how, at this moment, He is by your side to give you the victory you need. Believe in this truth and get what you desire right now.

Stand up! Take hold of what is yours, for the year of the redeemed of the Lord has arrived. There is no way God won’t work in your life at this moment. On the other hand, there is nothing more joyful for the Lord than getting rid of all evil from your life. Come on! Believe now, for He is ready to heal you, free you and give you the happiness that was achieved with a very high price – His own life. It just depends on you; so, what will you do?
