So the Lord exalted Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed on him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel. 1 Chronicles 29.25

If God’s chosen ones are obedient and fulfill what is given to them as their mission, they will see the good hand of the Lord upon them. It is not a good thing to play with spiritual things. Whoever does not accomplish what he has been ordered will see that his negligence will do him great harm. How will we be attended if we do not give the proper attention to our God? Jesus said that with the same measure we use, it will be measured to us (Mk 4.24).

Solomon assumed the throne of the Lord in David’s place, trusting in the fact that he would be used to bless the people; and so it happened. Pay attention: he did not sit in the throne of Israel or David, his father. Likewise, your position of authority comes from God, and therefore, you must assume it with fear and trembling, for the Most High will charge you for what you did as His representative. If we all had this notion, we would not see so many sinful things.

On the other hand, he knew that he was filling his father’s place, who was a great King. We will succeed the Lord Jesus, which will not be something easy if we do not look for the instructions that He left us. Those who believe in Him should walk as He walked. Solomon’s reward was that he was greatly magnified before the eyes of the whole nation.

The divine grace was with Solomon to give the necessary success in everything that he put his hands to execute. This is what should happen to all those who do the work of the Spirit. His capacity came from the Lord, who gave him the wisdom to decide between right and wrong. God expects this from each one that He elects to execute His work. When the leaders let themselves be used by the Omnipotent, something similar happens.

Solomon’s majesty was real, and was not obtained by the force of arms. It was something given by the Lord, for Solomon submitted as a servant and did what pleased God. We write how we will we be treated by the Omnipotent and Only God. If we do everything as we are told, we will have His approval. Now, if we are negligent with His work, undoubtedly our God will not be able to give us what He has planned.

The wisdom of David’s son went far. Therefore, kings, queens, and wise men went to Israel to know closely what the Most High had done in his favor. The same may happen to you, but it is necessary to let the Lord guide your ways and not stumble in any obstacle placed before you. What is best is that you will not pile over your life any condemnation. God will honor you if you honor Him as well.

The person who fears the Lord, flees from evil, and does not enter into the path of sin will see the divine hand exalting him over all. Even if he may be in a tight place, without any good previous story, the Father will promote him and will put him in delightful places. The Creator of all things knows how to reward all those who serve Him.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

Dear Father! How good it is to be faithful to Your calling and always depend on You. Thus, we will go through life with our heads held high, ready to do as You desire. The more we show ourselves as fulfillers of Your commandments, the more we will be blessed and kept by You.

May we never refuse Your Hand upon our lives. On the contrary, may Your blessed election, which embraced us and put us in the position You have planned, be guiding us and leading us to fulfill Your beautiful plans. With Your help, we will give You many joys.

The best is yet to come. If we have Your help, we will never be influenced by the lies of the enemy, but we will avoid sins and will walk with our heads held high towards Your beautiful will. May You always be praised by everything that we may come to accomplish for You.
