Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Philippians 4: 8

God gifted men with an awesome, invisible and concealed machine which, if used the right way, will be His joy and also so to all those who get in touch with you, or those who get to know about your life and your works. That is the reason why it is always good to keep your mind busy with good thoughts, not with the filthy or unproductive ones. Our mind is our planning secretary.

Unquestionably, a man is what he thinks and speaks. People who would rather go for obscenities, those who are confessing their defeat and their impossibilities all the time never get to be delivered from the influence of the empire of darkness. You need to get The Word of God in your heart and think about IT; not only say you love IT, but you must practice IT; by doing so your inner being will be strengthened and you will begin enjoying the abundant life which was given to you by Jesus.

Do not use your thoughts for those things that are unpleasant to The Lord. As you meditate on what is wrong, as you keep on ruminating those evil things, apart from wasting time your mind is conditioned to see only those things that are destructive. Be different! Do not pay heed to what the enemy says in that he is a liar and an evil being. The main goal of the devil is to turn your life into something worthless. Do not forget that Jesus made you more than a conqueror (Romans 8: 37).

Wrong thoughts hide behind the capability of the enemy to deceive people. Once deceived by the devil the person gets contaminated in such a manner that all of their attitudes become sinful. Therefore, just refute thinking of those negative and trifling things, contrary ideas to The Scriptures. The Lord shall pour onto you His holy inspiration, so do meditate on all those virtuous and noble things.

What really matters is to always keep your thinking machine processing good things, and thus, what comes out of your mouth will be like heavenly fire. The Word of God teaches us that the power to break the strongholds of the enemy, as well as all weapon formed against us is our inheritance (Isaiah 54: 17). Think of your ownership and be strengthened!

In His days here on earth, Jesus was aware of everything that was going on in people’s minds; today He can still do it. If you keep on meditating on those condemned practices by The Holy Scripture you will not be able to please The Lord at all. So, stop meditating on what is not worth meditating and get your mind busy with what is good instead.

Those points you understand in The Word are to be what must occupy your mind. Put on your mouth only those things God has taught you, so you will not say anything that might cause you any harm. Just meditate on those virtuous and noble things, praiseworthy ideas and your life will be greatly blessed indeed.
