For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? 1 Thessalonians 2.19

Our goal is not only to preach the Gospel-when we do so, we give the hearer the possibility of being saved – but also to deliver people from eternal damnation. If those who reject God’s offer are not given another chance, they will go to endless torment. The saved are our hope, joy or crown of glory (1 Thessalonians 2:20). Hallelujah!

Every Christian must strive to live in sanctification, for it is essential to stay away from sin. The Scriptures make this clear: Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12.14). Now, if we don’t have the separation in us that the Word says is necessary, we will be ruined! Why not mend ourselves?

To work in the Gospel without the proper holiness – is to throw away the chance to enter the Lord’s eternal Kingdom. Why exchange something of incomparable value for acts that are repugnant even in thought? The choice is in our hands, and however sad it may be the perdition of those who have already been enlightened, many give in to the devil and are lost forever. What is going on in the minds of these people?

When tempted by the evil one, you can prove whether you love the work Jesus accomplished on your behalf or whether you would rather go on to endless torment. Temptation is not a game played by the enemy. When you experience it, your soul disconnects from God – as it did in the garden of Eden – and becomes the devil’s servant. The suffering of those who act in this way will never end.

As we see people turning from sin and sanctifying themselves to walk with the Master, our hearts are filled with joy and we feel as if we receive part of the reward that will be given to us on the Day of Redemption. The Bible says: Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever (Daniel 12.3). God is good!

Have as the highest goal of your life the salvation of the lost, because that was the reason God gave us His only begotten Son – to die in our place. In this regard, Isaiah declared: Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. (Isaiah 53.10).

When Jesus comes and the saved with Him, we who preach the gospel will rejoice exceedingly. At that moment, we will see our hope fulfilled, as well as the joy and crown of glory that we will receive. It will be so good to see the saved entering the Kingdom of Heaven, from where they will never leave! To God be the glory and honor!

In Christ, with love,

Beloved Father! It will be beautiful to see Your satisfaction as You send Your Son to take us out of this world and transport us into the Kingdom of Heaven. Our hope, joy and crown of glory will be fulfilled in You!

What a wonderful picture we will see as we behold the Savior with the redeemed, leading them into eternal dwelling in You. You are more than we can think or desire. We will not lack Your joy. We will be fulfilled in You!

Our prayer is: "Maranatha! Come now, Lord Jesus!" But while that day has not come, use us greatly, leading us to reach as many of the lost as possible, for the reward surpasses the trials faced because of Your Name!
