“The Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave Him to show His servants: things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John.” (Revelation 1:1)

Jesus and the Father are one, but there are certain things that only our Father knows (Matthew 24:36). He doesn’t speak through hypothesis, but through revelations which are of the uttermost importance and were given to us through Jesus.

There are some issues about which only our Father knows. Well, our finite mind will never manage to get the picture of the infinite God; so, it’s wise to accept all the things He reveals to us. Our loving God would never deprive us of the knowledge of something important to us and neither would He act to do something mean-heartedly. He always wants us to rejoice and if we really believe in His revelations we’ll certainly be happy and successful.

In the Gospel, when talking about His second coming to this world, Jesus declares that not even He knows when it will take place, but only God the Father. The revelation John received in the island of Patmos was greatly significant because it was given to him by the Lord Himself. Likewise, it is essential for us the insight that the Almighty brings forth in our hearts when we read the Bible, attend a sermon or meditate on what we have been given because it is most definitely a message from the Heavens, a divine commandment. If we practice it, we will attain the heavenly blessings, but if we despise it, we shall perish.

Jesus never fails to announce us something; all those messages He gets from our Father are to teach us a lesson. But note: Christ fulfills His part when He delivers His revelations; therefore it is up to us to do our part.  Each revelation brings within itself the necessary power to achieve its goal. So, my brethren, from now on, every time the Lord tells you to do something, do take possession of His declarations to you and give your command.  Then, stand firm and instead of letting yourself be deceived by the enemy with doubts, be on the alert – that’s precisely one of our Lord’s pieces of advice (Matthew 24:42).
The worst thing someone can do is to take for granted something revealed to them. Remember: The divine revelations are extremely important; otherwise He wouldn’t have given them to us. Yet, whenever He announces something or tell us what’s about to happen, we must watch out and pray about it.

My brethren, God is not evaluating the circumstances we find ourselves in to only then, according to His calculations, give His opinion on what may occur. No! He knows everything and, at the right time, He grants us the understanding of what will actually happen. By believing in what He tells us we will undoubtedly live better.

In Christ, with love,
