When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel. Deuteronomy 32.8

What a precious verse! It tells secrets of the beginning of creation. The Lord made the division of the peoples, based on the children of Israel, who would come into existence. In that day, only Moses knew that God had predestined us to salvation in Christ, until the time of Israel was fulfilled. That is why the Gospel – the Good News of what Jesus has done – must reach the corners of our country and the world. We are part of the Lord’s redemptive plan. Oh glory!

The writer of this biblical text begins by talking about the distribution of wealth to the nations, showing that the Lord knew how many descendants of the patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would be in that geographical space thousands of years later. This revelation makes us stop for a moment and see how much we have been loved by God since the beginning of mankind on the face of the planet. The Most High has foreknowledge and so has placed us where we are to do His will.

No wonder that Abraham’s children – Arabs and Jews – rule the economy of the Earth. Those who came from Isaac are experts in trading, and the descendants of Ishmael were given a land full of oil within. There are places where the land is good for food production, and others concentrate different kinds of wealth. The world will wake up before the return of Christ, who will take us from among the rebels to dwell in the eternal Home!

We are children of Adam and brothers and siblings to one another, but perversely there is discrimination because of skin color, place of birth, or other differences, as if that is worth something. We must make everyone understand that the evils that have afflicted us until now exist out of pure rebellion against our Father. Do not be fooled, for God is not mocked. There will be a harvest of every seed sown (Galatians 6.7,8).

According to universal History, it seemed that many kingdoms were born to dominate the world, but then collapsed, as others supplanted them. In our days, there are also those who think they are very important, thinking they can have the rest of humanity under their whip. But, as has already occurred, such a person and others will go bankrupt. God has put terms on people, and they don’t even realize it. One day, there will be a world dictator whom Jesus will kill with the breath of His mouth (2 Thessalonians 2.8)!

The separations of the nations took place, so that the children of Israel would go about the Earth and occupy themselves with something that would give them survival and also fulfill God’s purpose to be accomplished under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The heavenly plan is the reconciliation of the lost, so that on the great Day, people from every tribe, tongue and nation will sing the new song addressed to the one true Messiah (Revelation 5.9).

From the seed of Judah came the Savior, according to the flesh. Jesus came to redeem us from the Fall and to give us the ministry and authority to evangelize sinners all over the world (Matthew 28.18-20). This is our time to believe in the Plan and go out everywhere proclaiming the Truth. God is good!
