For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises with understanding. Psalm 47.7

The wisdom of the Most High teaches us to sing praises to Him, and this means strengthening our own soul. Without this blessing, we would be like people that do not get fed properly, are feeble in structure, do not have a healthy skin and suffer all kinds of sicknesses and evil. However, being strengthened by our communion with Him, we have the power to undo the laces that try to unite us with evil.

Praises must be sung with intelligence; however, what can we do if we do not have wisdom in ourselves? Oh! We can ask Him to teach us to extract from Scriptures what we need to faithfully give what is due to Him. Thus, we will love Him more and more and will be benefitted from it, carrying forward the beautiful and wonderful work of the Omnipotent.

As Author and Giver of true and pure wisdom, the Lord will not withhold anything that could help us to be victorious in our daily lives and to spread the Good News around the world. As for the wisdom of men, we are aware that it is not fitting to give the Most High the truest praise, for as it comes from the world, it is animalistic and demonic. However, God’s wisdom is blessed, peaceful and operates fully in us.

Everything that we need and can do in the Gospel must come from the Lord; even our praise in the great congregation, as David well taught (Ps 22.25). There is no way of doing something good without the divine help. However, with it, we will be able to please the Most High, and thus, our work will be made perfect. When He teaches us to praise Him, there is no way how this praise is not accepted.

One of the facts that lead us to worship our King is that He defeated the forces of darkness and gave us power to, in His Name, defeat everything that comes to destroy us. Therefore, we can and should sing praises to Him. Certainly, those who learn what the Word says become victorious in all things, and in the act of praising God, they come close to perfection. The inspiration of the Almighty leads us to make Him happy.

It is possible to measure the amount of surrender of a life according to how much a person sings praises. Those who do not like to open their mouths to exalt the Holy Name need to reevaluate the faith they say they have in the Omnipotent. In truth, we all must examine ourselves, for one of the evil one’s tricks is to tell to some that they do not know how to praise, and therefore, that God will not accept them. This is a lie that belongs to those who are used by the demon.

The praise that is offered to God leads us to His presence, to participate in His sublime glory. Thus, we become completely free and ready to receive what is given freely for us through the Beloved One. The Lord is pleased when His children learn how to act like the wise, fulfilling what is determined since the Creation.

In Christ, with love,

God, worthy of the praises of Your people! What a joy to open our hearts and mouth to sing praises to the One who is worthy. This act makes our hearts remain opened to receive from You what You have already prepared for us. This is gratifying and beautiful!

We need You to give us Your wisdom so that we may sing the true praises that exalt Your name and Your faithfulness. Thus, we will be able to fortify our own soul. With a pure and heavenly wisdom, we will exalt You.

From You, King of lights, comes everything that we can give to You, including our praise. To You, our King, who defeated the forces of hell and gave us power to subdue them in Your Name, we surrender our gratitude and admiration. You are simply beautiful and perfect!
