And it happened, when our enemies heard that it was known to us, and that God had brought their plot to nothing, that all of us returned to the wall, everyone to his work.

Nehemiah 4: 15

Fearing the enemy’s attempt to causing harm to the children of God is one of the most serious mistakes they can ever commit. From an office boss who deems himself to be better than everyone else – and precisely for that reason he takes attitudes as though he was the big shot of that office – to a crook who happens to threaten us in any uncomfortable situation, we have to pray to The Lord, put all our troubles in His Hands and then we can carry on fulfilling His command to us.

Our Father is an expert in either lifting up a man or breaking him down. He has power over all works of men however good or evil. Therefore, if we pray and use our prerogatives in Christ He will abort the plans of those who want to oppress us and make us suffer. The Lord knows how to prevent all evil intentions from succeeding in such a manner that our enemies’ plans against us are kept away only to be shown on The Judgement Day.

The people of God have a particular resource that the ungodly do not: they can say a prayer to The Lord and then be answered at any time. If we make use of what belongs to us in Jesus our issues will be sorted out. Therefore, do not let despair overwhelm you, and you must neither miss a night’s sleep nor fall into depression. In case the enemy comes against your life, instead of fearing his threats, you must turn to the divine direction for it will be your best attitude.

When the devil knew that Nehemiah and his friends had already discovered what his concealed plans were, he gave up since he knew he was bound to be defeated. The adversary certainly knew that he could not carry on with his ruthless plan; after all, the Israelites had already urged for the Heavenly Support. Every time you get to know about a plan against your life you must pray and The Lord will handle the whole situation.

Those evil men could not put their ruthless plan through considering that when The Lord revealed it to The Israelites, He was already dissolving their council – and precisely for that reason evil would no longer prosper. Every time The Almighty reveals to you something, that evil thing will already be history if you say so, in The Name of Jesus, and consequently the devil’s plans will be aborted. You will only have to say a prayer, and God will come through by cancelling what had been articulated against your life.

The secret is to live in communion with The Most High because, this way, no weapon formed against your life shall prosper (Isaiah 54: 17). Your most effective weapon is praying and believing in the promises for you in The Scripture considering that Christ assures us that everything we ask Him in prayer will be done to us (Matthew 21: 22).

The Israelites only had to go back to work. When The Lord operates, my brother, there is no reason for us to keep on crying around for what could have happened. From the revelation that our Father gives you, you must be cheerful and fulfil that what you are told. Our God will always abort the enemy’s plans against your life.
