He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.   Psalm 91.4

No child of the Most High should grieve when they are tempted, because in addition to being protected in such situations, they will be wrapped in the Lord’s feathers. If your temptation seems too strong, look at what God promises to do for you: No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able; but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it (1 Corinthians 10:13). Believe and live!

When the forces of darkness come with all their fury to do you harm, don’t let them get you down. God will cover you with His wings and you will be safe. With this affirmation from the Lord, no one should fear the onslaughts of evil, but rather be calm and believe in the Word. In this way, you will emerge unscathed, as if nothing were happening. No matter how hard the trial, keep trusting in your heavenly Father and you will be kept from evil!

Who is greater: the devil, whose aim is to kill, steal and destroy, or the Lord, who came to give you life in abundance? (John 10.10). This question doesn’t even need an answer, but from what some confess, it seems that they believe the devil is the greatest. Now, never let the arrows of the enemy hit you. Even if they seem to have penetrated your soul, don’t confess defeat, because this is just a temptation that, if resisted, will flee from you (James 4:7).

The Word doesn’t say that you might be covered; it says that it will happen to whoever believes. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, the vigilance of the One who neither sleeps nor slumbers is exercised 24 hours a day, seven days a week. So be constant in your faith in God. Even if everything shows that the devil has caught up with you, confess what God says about you. But beware: if there is sin, He cannot work (Isaiah 59:1,2).

Divine protection makes the predator, even if he is shrewd, shrink away and go off on other adventures, without touching the one who takes shelter under the Lord’s wings. Faith must be exercised without fear, otherwise it won’t work. If you don’t go on the offensive when evil strikes, you’ll discover that you’ve let the enemy open a “bridgehead” in your life, from where he’ll launch more attacks. Close the door to him!

The feathers of the Most High are a blessing for those who trust in Him and, at the same time, terrify the enemy. This is what God says: So shall  they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). He says that temptation comes so that the Name of Jesus may be feared throughout the world!

The Truth of the Lord is the Shield that guards us from the enemy’s arrows and gives us the certainty that we can defeat him. As well as being the greatest Shield of protection, the Truth is the buckler, the small shield that the warrior wears in his hand when using the sword of the Spirit. Which do you prefer: to be a warrior or to be defeated? Your answer will show how you have lived!

In Christ, with love,

God, our Father! We will overcome our trials, for You have said that the Holy Spirit will display His banner against the enemy. By faith, we see the evil one preparing to come against us, but Your Spirit is ready to enter the battle!

It's no use thinking about who will win the battle! It's impossible for the one who has been beaten and stripped by Jesus in his home to win a single fight. Help us to never lose faith in You. If we repent the sin, we will be forgiven. Help us!

If the enemy comes like a stream of water, You will keep us and give us victory! Our eyes are on You, to see how powerful You are. We go into battle praising You! Your Name will be feared and respected throughout the Earth. Amen!
