Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.

Deuteronomy 7: 12

Israel was The Lord’s very people of choice and the same goes for us. The Israelites had no especial qualification to be chosen by God – they weren’t numerous or famous nor did they stand out in any way from the other peoples then. Yet, because their predecessors had faithfully served The Most High, God was willing to keep The Covenant made with them as long as they watched and fulfilled the divine judgments.

And again, that’s also true for us. Who were we for the Lord to handpick us as His children and to grant us His Spirit and, along with Him, the divine power? The reason why we can do the same works Jesus did in His earthly ministry is because Christ replaced us on the cross. The work perpetrated by Him is the only one accountable for our being chosen and consequently for our eternal salvation.

Yet, if we won’t listen to the declarations of the Holy Spirit found in His Words we won’t be able to achieve the promises of God to us yet to be fulfilled. This is the reason why many people have failed to sort their problems out and then they ended up being dominated by temptations. Yet, those who decide to fulfil the righteousness of The Lord begin experiencing their own words being confirmed.

God keeps the covenant made with us as long as we fulfil His decisions. A Christian who lives their life egoistically and miserably spiritually speaking will see no divine operation being perpetrated and they’ll almost always end up getting frustrated by the enemy with all sorts of evil deeds. The sky above their head will turn into iron and likewise their shield will become fragile. When that happens, evil arrows get into their life and cause them a huge damage.

We’re saved to serve God and that will cause us to be favoured by all good things in return, deeds prepared by Him for all those who pay heed to His determinations. That simple fact causes us to be guided into all good work. As we’re conducted by The Almighty He does so by straight ways and, as He leads us, doors are opened by Him and we’re taken towards the best fruits ever. As a Father, The Lord knows how to really bless His children.

Those who keep on being rebellious will find out how bad it is not paying heed to God’s Words. Some think that that is a quite normal way of living their lives; yet, those who are faithful in keeping the commandments will find out the riches prepared by The Most High especially for them. A life in abundance is actually real and quite profitable – it’s the best thing God has for all those who do His will. That is the reason why failing to enjoy the riches prepared by The Lord for us is terribly unwise.

If you wish to become a well-successful person you mustn’t believe in the devil’s lies but rather stay strong, stand firm in faith and do fulfil the commandments of The Lord. Thus God will confirm His covenant and His judgments to all those who are obedient to Him.

In Christ, with love,
