28/12/2016 - THE LORD OF THE HUMBLE

Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble;You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear. Psalm 10.17

One of the nine beatitudes declared by Jesus in the sermon on the mountain deals with those who are taken by meekness (Matthew 5) The psalmist on the other hand says that his desires will be heard by the Omnipotent and thus their hearts will be comforted – will be delivered from all malignant oppressions.  To those who are meek, God’s ears are always open to hear and to answer their petitions.  It pays to fight to do the Lord’s will.

Those that pay attention to the Father will see that food will not lack and this will last abundantly.  They will praise the Lord and their hearts will live forever.  However, the opposite is also true, for if they do not seek the divine presence, they will have abundant problems and will have a spiritual hunger that will never be satisfied.  When need arrives they will not be able to prevent the invasion because by not having believed what they were told they left the door open.  

The humble have an advantage over the other the children of God, as they will be led in righteousness and this way will learn the way of the Lord.  Alas, those who know the way the Almighty uses to operate will also be able to do what He does; this way, by acting like He does, they will realize that this is what lacked for them to get rid of the enemy and his works.  It is so easy to come to the point where you are a winner at everything; just submit to being humble.

Those taken by this quality can hear the Lord and thus live joyfully. For them there is no day of worry or period of scarceness for they know that when they pray, their prayers are readily answered.  As you listen to what God says, you have better directions that you couldn’t get otherwise.  So get ready to receive and to follow instructions; then you will never stumble.  Isn’t it better to live free from fear of the enemy?

Humbleness in a person’s heart will enable them to inherit the Earth and from there they will never be uprooted.  The Gospel is the true Promised Land where there is everything you need   in abundance even adding years of peace and joy. With this, even though everything seems to be contrary you may lift yourself up and progress to lay hold of what belongs to you in Christ.  This is the true way to live and it is wonderful!

One of the characteristics of the humble is to always live seeking the Lord.  This is why the humble are always in peace and are always victorious in battle.  Those who act like this are agreeable to God’s words and deeds and consequently their hearts are always full of solutions and words of peace.  But those who do not want any commitment with the Lord will discover the wrong decision they made.  Alas, away from the Savior, there can only be pain, suffering and sadness.  So why trade the good for something worthless?

The Heavenly Father will rise to judge and deliver all the humble and will crown them with salvation.  The day is coming and much sooner than can be imagined, at the sound of the last trumpet we will see Him rise up from the clouds to come and get us, and then we will rise to meet him in the skies.  Why not participate in this group that will no longer suffer?
