04/07/2019 - THE MAN WITH A WITHERED HAND

And He entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a withered hand. Mark 3:1

After Creation the Lord examined with His perfect eyes each one of His works: Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good (Genesis 1:31a). He planned us to be His image and likeness on Earth and gave us conditions to act in the spiritual world. Then, the fall of Adam changed our destiny, but the love of God prevailed, because He sent His Son to redeem us, conceding us an escape.

Without the coming of the Messiah and His subsequent work on the Cross, mankind would be separated forever from the Creator. Consequently his perdition would be eternal. Today we believe in the Good News of the Gospel, we are forgiven, redeemed and saved. Besides we have obtained conditions to live in communion with the Father, by our faith we received when we heard the Word (Romans 10:17).

The man in the synagogue at Capernaum symbolized mankind.  With the fall of Adam, the human had his abilities withered: he lost his communion with the Creator. However, today as we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and put our faith into practice, we regain contact with the Almighty. Alas, many people have good sentiments with the sufferers and are dedicated to caring for them, but no matter how beautiful this may be they will only be touched by God and enjoy His blessing if they believe in Him.

Jesus having entered that synagogue again says that He never ceases to find and reach our heart. No doubt, from the time you started to read this message you have changed. The light that this reading offers will deliver you from all evil. Begin to confess what you have been told. There is no magic in faith but only the working of the Lord in the life of whoever believes.

When the Most High reveals anything, He shows that person what must be done. That person is given powers from Heaven to accomplish a predetermined mission. By your declaration of faith you will obtain the salvation of your soul, healing of a disease and deliverance from any other problem. Therefore declare to yourself: “God said so, therefore He will put an end to this evil.”

One day, Christ was walking towards the house that belonged to Jairus, in answer to an appeal from the head of a synagogue whose daughter was dying (Luke 8:41,42). Meanwhile, the Master healed the woman who was hemorrhaging because she had touched the edge of his garment (Mark 5:28; Luke 8:43-48) and then a woman who was bowed together for over 18 years simply by imposition of His hands (Luke 13:11-13). Now the man with the withered hand was not even touched. He only had to stretch his hand.

This man, as was previously commented, symbolized mankind who has one of his hands unable to operate in the world of perfection.  In that synagogue was he who had the problem and He who could apply the solution, the Blesser. They meet at the exact point and the miracle was worked. The same will happen with you. Amen?
