13/05/2017 - THE MANIFESTATION OF GOD’S WRATH

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. Romans 1.18

Poor are those who know that which is right, but chose to do that which is wrong. Although they call themselves converted and say that they live in fellowship with God, truly, they are being used by the enemy. The warning in this verse is very serious, and will become real in the lives of people who play the game of trying to fool the Lord, who is Omniscient (knows everything), Omnipresent (is even in the thoughts of everyone) and Omnipotent (can do what he wants, because he has such powers).

When a person loses the respect for the Most High, the commandments are not interesting to them anymore. Even if, “miracles” strangely happen because of petitions made on their behalf, it doesn’t prove that they are well. Many times, the miracle happens because of the faith of the one who is asking, and not the one who is ministering. When something starts to go wrong in the lives of God’s children, they need to examine and ask Him to search their hearts.

The only way to know if we are proceeding in the correct way is by obeying the Law of God – the Word -, or the testimony given by Him in the Scriptures (Isaiah 8:20). When we obey Him, we have the confirmation that we are in fellowship. However, when we do not obtain such certainty, it is a sign that we are walking away from the divine purpose. Then, nothing else is left for us but to wait for His wrath. Have mercy on us!

Many do not know that people invested with authority are servants of the Almighty and, because of that, they have to zeal about what they speak, teach and do. We owe humanity the love that God has been sharing with us, the experiences that He provides in His Word, and the victories we have obtained with the faith we have in Jesus. Our good example can be the greatest message ever preached.

Christ said that, in the last Day, there will be complaining from those who will be separated to be on His left side and will be sent to eternal damnation (Matthew 25:41). They will say that they have healed the sick, expelled demons and prophesied in His Name, but they will hear from the Master that they are not known to Him. The situation is more serious then we can imagine. We must stay alert so that we do not fall into temptation. Do that, or else…!

All those who speak lies, practicing impiety and injustice, will be targeted by God’s wrath, which is as holy as His love. He uses His capacity to clean the Church from people who have surrendered themselves to the enemy and perverted the holy message of the Gospel as well the workings of divine justice. We should never play with God, but be truthful, faithful at all times. Amen!

It is impossible to be saved and live in sin. The sign that someone has ceased to be light can be seen through the lies they tell, and not by confessing the errors and purposes behind their own decisions. Those who belong to the Lord, even if its damaging to themselves, will confess their wrongdoings. Do you belong to God, or did you belong to Him in the past? Examine yourself and correct yourself!
