In this lesson, we will learn how much we have gained by coming into the world through a mother’s birth. Adam’s sin separated us from God, making us easy targets for the devil; however, our Older Brother – Jesus – came as one of us and paid the price for our redemption. He will return, in the clouds, to take us out of this wicked world and lead us into the eternal Abode. God is good!
We can’t keep underestimating ourselves. After all, you don’t pay dearly for something worthless. Jesus, who is God with the Father, left His glory to rescue us, proving that we are precious to Him. The Lord took our sins and iniquities upon Himself so that the Father could rescue us from the hands of the evil one. Christ knew how much we were worth before He came here.
We entered through the door, the maternal birth, so we are citizens of this planet. This gives us the right to live as God has determined. The devil, on the other hand, entered the earth by mistake, so he is a thief and a robber. The demons, not having been born of a woman, do not belong to this world. Jesus is one of us and came to redeem us through His blood (Galatians 4:4,5). Now we are saved!
Even if it tries hard, the enemy will not be able to take us out of the hands of the Almighty, because he was defeated in his own house by the Savior. There, Christ took the keys of his lair. Now the evil one doesn’t even have the power there, but the Lord, who has legally defeated him (Colossians 2:15; Revelation 1:17,18). You must not submit to the lies of the devil, but declare yourself completely justified by the work accomplished by Jesus in His death. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ (Romans 8:1).
What was required has been accomplished. Now the enemy can neither dictate our conduct nor make us suffer anymore. By shedding His blood, Christ has bought us for the Father. Then, we must only believe in His sacrifice, receiving Him as Lord and Savior. When this happens, the Father gives us the power to become His children (John 1.12). Hallelujah!
Once redeemed, we do not have to beg for blessings, but take them with faith and authority. After all, we are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8.17). Therefore, every time you require healing, deliverance, or a solution to some problem, command evil to leave your life and declare yourself free. The Scriptures guarantee that whatever we command in the Name of Jesus He Himself will do for us (John 14.13).
When Peter arrived in Joppa, the brothers told him that Dorcas had become sick and died (Acts 9.36-41). Peter prayed for direction on how to proceed. He knew that it was the will of the Father that she should come back to life. He then went to where they had laid her, after they had washed her, preparing her for burial, and said to her: Tabitha, arise. She has risen. God is faithful!

God of our sonship! What comes from You is always good news. We can do the same works as Jesus, in His Name. After all, when we accept the Savior, we become Your children, free from all condemnation!
Peter was with the Master from the very beginning of His ministry and saw the times when He carried out God's purpose, including raising the dead. When he cried out to You about what to do about Dorcas, he heard that he should call her back, and she did. You are tremendous!
We want to be used by You! May our call bring You the most beautiful exclamations of praise, for we are happy to belong to Your Kingdom. We worship You. Only Thy beautiful will be done!
