In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 1Corinthians 11.25

What a wonderful moment! The disciples that participated in the last supper with the Master received the information of this wonderful event: they heard about the New Testament, and the Old Covenant done with Moses would no longer exist. Now, the New Covenant was being sealed and came into effect when, at the cross, Christ cried out: It is finished (John 19:30). Now we are in a superior Alliance, made with better promises (Heb 8:6).

This New Covenant gives you rights and privileges. As a child of God, within you there is an ability to call God your Father. As a child, you’ve become heir of the Almighty – continuer of the work that Jesus began to do – and for that reason you have the right to use the name of Jesus to enter into the divine presence and rebuke the works of the evil, because, in Christ, you can accomplish the same things that He did.

The New Testament was everything that mankind needed in order to be saved. After the Savior’s sacrifice, no more separation would exist between God and His creation. Now, just as Jesus said that the Father and Him were one, if you are in Christ, you will also be one with the Lord. When the anointing is upon your life, you act as if you’re not just a normal person, but as Jesus himself acted. One who is in Christ can do the same as the Son of God did (John 14:12).

The New Covenant will never grow old, it doesn’t need to be improved or patched up. It greatly fulfills all of your needs. Being in Him, you can fight the forces of evil and be a conqueror. There is no way you won’t bring God into action, if what you need is to believe what the Father’s word reveals and order that so be it. Right now, everything you determine within the revelation will come to you.

The best part is that you have been created a minister of the New Testament. So if you shut your mouth, people will receive nothing, but if you take your place in Christ and determine blessings, God will be with you as He was with Jesus. In fact, you can do everything through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). He is the Mediator of this Covenant, and when you do your part, the Lord fulfills His. What is missing in order for you to receive your blessing?

Do not frustrate the Almighty; after all, He knew exactly what He was doing when he called you to be a part of this blessed Covenant. Now all you need, or will need, will be given to you if you only rely on what the Father shows you in His Word. That’s what you can do. God’s power expects you to act within the boundaries of the New Covenant, so that it goes into operation on your behalf.

Why leave it for later, if you are a minister of the New Testament? Go and take possession of what is yours. God will honor everything He has said in His blessed Word.

In the Love of Christ,
