30/11/2016 - THE OPENING OF THE RED SEA

And with the blast of Your nostrils the waters were gathered together; the floods stood upright like a heap; the depths congealed in the heart of the sea.   Exodus 15.8

One of the greatest wonders that the world has ever experienced happened in a very simple way; this is how the Lord works. I stand amazed with the result of my prayer for the sick. How can people with blindness, ulcer, or any other evil, after a simple request, return to normality in perfect condition? Some people, however, let doubt enter their hearts, and after a while, start wearing glasses again. Why not trust completely in the Lord?

The opening of the Red Sea and the passage of Israel through the two columns of water are proof of the power of the Most High in operating all that is necessary in any situation. We do not know the exact location of that opening, but what matters is that God guarantees that He can act for His people and will do all that is needed to deliver them.

Scriptures declare that what opened the Red Sea was the Lord’s breath, from His nostrils. In human eyes, this was a wind from the east that blew the entire night. Now, the wind had to be very strong in order to open the sea and hold the waters in two great columns. Even though with a strong wind, the Israelites and all their cows, goats, sheep, and animals, walked slowly towards the other side.

The waters were gathered in two mountains, and the people crossed through the valley without getting wet. What could have held these waters, if not the power of God? Now, if men wanted to build blockages to split the sea in two, it would take many years. Even if they tried to do something like this, what would be done with the 3 million people, their animals and goods, waiting for the construction to finish? It would be impossible.

The works of the Almighty are perfect, for there was not even a leakage that allowed anyone’s escape. It is said that in the place that they crossed, there was something like an underneath bridge within 18 to 60 meters in the depths of the sea. Didn’t the Creator, when He made the Earth, know that this would be necessary, many years ahead, so that His people would leave captivity in Egypt? Undoubtedly, this was planned ever since the creation of the world.

The Lord’s power made the currents stop flowing, which is also another great miracle. How can there be a wall that is so strong that it is not leaked with the force of the waters? Someone can say that they were frozen with an extreme cold, but how then would that cold not kill any of the Israelites? It was the wonderful divine excellence that accomplished such a wonder. God is fantastic!

In that day, the Egyptians were drowned in the hearts of the seas. We will see greater things than this in our days, for that is what Jesus guaranteed for those who believed in His Name. All that we need to do is to trust in the Most High, and then, we will see His great wonders in our favor. Therefore, never retreat in your faith in Christ.
